62 Located near the Suomen Kansallismuseo = National Museum of Finland. Elegant pubbish classic style, green walls and brown wood. Round lamps, round tables, with chairs. No music, no noise (except from ventilation) , no rubbish. I did not try their famous pizza. Found an estonian gose. The downside is that they only serve in 50cl glasses, so the gose was 11€. Taprow is dominated by big brands.

70 Relaxed pub, quite open and airy with decent pizzas and a fair beer selection. A couple of handpulls, including a rather local one from Espoo (seems to be a house beer?). Supposedly one of the oldest pubs in the city. Well worth a visit. |
70 Nice relaxing place, at least in the afternoon. Mostly imported beers, with a focus on UK and real ales, but also had CZ and German stuff on tap, including Ayinger Maibock, which was excellent. Finlandia Sathi was available from a big plastic jug and though pricy was in very nice condition. Not much in the way of Finnish craft, so mostly good for the sahti and real ales if you want them. And Ayinger. |
70 Visited on 7th May 2019. Large English style pub on edge of city centre. Decor is trad looking pub, looks a little dusty and lived in. Food available but not really pushed on our visit. Beer range is a decent mix of Finnish micro and macro plus 3 handpulls. Only 2 on when visited. Prices ok, service ok. Beer list lovingly written above the bar was wrong. Wouldn't rush back. Better places. |
84 Excellent pub, no music, located near the parliament. Two ales and one cider on cask when I was there, also a decent selection of keg and bottled beers. The pizzas are good - and huge for one person. |
70 A piece of West London tucked away in Helsinki. Quiet and friendly atmosphere. The beer lists may be more inventive elsewhere, this is a place for quiet pints and conversation - or a good book. |
70 Located in the central part of town near the national museum. Lounge pub atmosphere. Good pizza and an ok selection of beer. |
70 Visited on a Tuesday evening in August 2017. An ok selection but the best thing with this place was the cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Located not far from the city centre. I also liked all the pictures of the legendary Finnish President Urho Kekkonen. |
64 Visited during RBESG ’17. A fairly big wooden pub a little out of the center. A little English themed I guess but seemingly specializing in pizza, which was fairly decent and did the job nicely for a bunch of hungry ratebeerians. Beer selection was nothing that interesting but still a couple of ticks to be had during lunch. |
76 Cozy pub with lots of wood just a short distance from the train station. Long serving bar and restaurant tables. Good beer selection including a draft sahti. Pizza was very tasty (you can get Rudolph on one, if you want). Great service. |
