64 Visited after work on a Tuesday for dinner and beers with co-workers. Layout is typical BJ’, big bar area, big dining area and decent sized outdoor patio. Normal beer selection, along with 2 seasonal / specials and a handful of guest drafts. Food menu is standard BJ’s. Service was quite good. Overall, standard BJ’s, as they all are. 64 = ★★ (Just ok) I only use the total score, not the component parts. |
56 it’s a chain of "brew houses" (yes, I’m using that term sarcastically) that serves their own beer plus some locals and nationals. I found their beers to be competent, but boring. Wasn’t impressed. The servers didn’t bring our appetizers until after the entrees arrived, so I’m doubting the beer I had was actually the one I ordered. |
58 The food is about as good as the beer. It tastes pretty good but don’t let them fool you into thinking you’re eating or drinking something unique. It even LOOKS like a Chili’s, but they somehow have "microbrews"? HA! It’s California dribble, but again, it tastes okay to me. Service was good. |
86 right good brewpub! gotta love those brews! |
76 A good experience. The food was pretty good, excellent microbrews. |
78 Pretty good pizza and other food but lacking in the beer selection area, but they do brew their own beer too (which is okay). They do have a pleasant waitstaff. |
68 Not as nice as the Plano one. Kind of an awkward layout. Same food that is pretty solid though. They had nit wit on tap but I was there for lunch while I was working and apparently it is not cool to drink at lunch. What has the world come to? |
60 Nice open floor plan with large patio. stanard selection with two seasonals. Two guest taps. One was SN Anniversary Ale when I was there. Food was good. Nice place. |
58 The beers here are just average - bunt single mass appeal brewpub fare. Food was decent - I had the chili cheeseburger, and it was tasty but it killed me later. Onion rings and fries were crispy. The place is super clean, the atmosphere is industrial renovation/diner. Accessible. Good parking. A long, but quick jaunt from either Dallas or DFW airport. Selection of mediocre beers is good - 10 on tap, looks like a core of 6-7 standard beers with a few seasonal/specials. If you’re in the neighborhood, it’s worth a stop. |
66 I met up with Peter here when I was in Dallas. This is a large chain brewpub that I found rather similar to the Ram Restaurants. The bar was quiet enough when I was there to have a good conversation, the service and food were very good (typical large brewpub food, but well done), and the beers were a tad below average (but they had 8 on tap, so there was variety). Not a bad place, and I’m likely to drop in again if I’m in the area. |
