Unfortunately the kitchen was closed at 10pm, because it seems to be a place where you can eat very well. The beers were not bad, in the average.

Clean, trendy, upscale brewpub with descent food. Good beer selection; the hefeweizen and amber are good. Courteous and attentive wait staff.

Main bar room is fairly large, high ceiling, large windows... a very "clean" look, as is common for new restaurant/breweries. Beer selection was OK, they had a rauchbier, and that’s always cool. Sampled that one, as well as the hefeweizen, and was fairly impressed. Solid beer, well made. Food menu was good... I couldn’t pass up the double patty cheeseburger after seeing someone else get it. A good place to bring the family, but I wouldn’t go out drinker here on the weekends with friends. On our visit the brewer was apparently supposed to visit with us and give us a tour but he skipped out. I’m not pissed about that, but it sucks when someone says one thing and does another. I’m not taking this into account for my rating.

Nice upscale interior...mediocre beer...average food (although a burger is sort of hard to screw up)...I have spoken with the brewer before to verify some beers and he was excited for us to come...he showed up an hour late, told us he was going to take us on a tour of the brewery and try his new scotch ale...then he left...I would never expect a brewer to suck up to me because I type stuff about beer...but I would expect him to do what he told us he was going to do...I will never go back and will never recommend this place...that is disrespectful to his guests...

Beer was ho hum, consistent to style with no imagination. Food fairly average, the pizza was something I could find at a grocery store freezer. I had orginized a tasting here in which the brewer informed me he would discuss beers with our group, and tour the brewery. He also mentioned brining in some cheese to pair with the beers. He was not there when we arrived, and the bartender constantly informed us he was "on the way" When he did finally arrive, he introduced himself to the table, then dissappeared.

Good food, decent service although I had to ask twice for some things. She was busy though. I echo Legion’s comments about the brewer. The dude could have told us he was leaving. I had the Cheese Steak pizza which was good but the bottom of the crust didn’t seem to be cooked too well. It didn’t hold up when I went to eat the leftovers later on. But it was tasty. The beer was good. Perhaps some of the better brewpub beer I have had. Attractive interior.

Ok, I have to make this all very clear. The place is very pretty inside. The service was very good- she took care of 12 beer geeks with what seemed like no trouble. The beer and selection are what you might expect as average. The food, of which all I had was a club sandwich was average. The reason for the 1 rating for overall is that the donkey-hole brewer insisted that all of us be there at noon so that he could give us a tour of his hallway of a brewery. We are all there at the noon or near therer and he finally rolled in about 1:30 and when we wren’t done eating by 2:00, he had alrady left without so much as a goodbye. Pretty inconsiderate in regards to how far many of us drove to get there. We all would have likely chaged our plans for a later meeting, except for his insistnace. Oh, and for my $.02, the very first rating is from an employee and should likely be deleted, if not discounted- the stout sucked and there was no brown ale when we were there.

Beer was solid and to style. The lager was a lager, the pale ale was a pale ale, etc. Solid brews, just not geared towards the adventurous beer palate, which I understand. Decor was very modern stone and metal and very pretty. Wait staff was very accommodating and helpful. The food is way above excellent! This is not your standard pub fare. I had a steak sandwich that was simply sublime! I look forward to going back to see if they have new brews and to try some new dishes.

A real schlep from Dallas but in a nice area of Ft. Worth just west of TCU. Stylish interior. Good food. I stayed with a burger, which was a double patty (cool!) and very tasty; the fries were flavorful but soggy, however. The beer line-up is decent; simple selection brewed to style. The names need some creativity and the selection was unadventurous (not long after opening)--e.g. amber, hefe, stout, pale ale--but the smoked beer shows some potential for more adventure. Let’s hope they can make it in a tough city for brewpubs. Given the nature of the beast, they’ll probably have to rely on the style and food to bring people in.

A new, home-grown brewpub with a nice, spacious layout. Walk in and it looks like an upscale hair salon with a reception kiosk and hostess. To the left, you have a fine white-table-cloth restaurant; to the right, a more traditional (yet still classy) bar arrangement with flat-panel televisions and cable sports shows, but not with the drowning noise or music; in the middle, dividing the two, the brewing tanks. A standard 8 taps, with 5-6 standards and a couple of special seasonals and rotating offerings. The brewer is not afraid to experiment, so these should change frequently. Full bar liquor service, good wine selection and a few commercial macro beers, but no micros and nothing that would compete with the house beers. Tap lines are the best in Fort Worth.

By chopping the place in half with the brewery they made space to have a nice carmelly stout with your filet on linen table cloths, as well as a place to yell at your favorite team while flirting with the bartender and downing a coconut brown ale. The food is chef prepared, the beer is brewmaster made...what more can you ask for?
