72 When I cheat on The Brewer’s Kettle (in HP) this is where I go. large selection, good prices, sometimes the slow turnover is beneficial - I can find stuff that sold out elsewhere (shh that is my little secret). |
82 chain store with outstanding selection. prices are good, and service was efficient. almost everything available as singles. |
64 pretty happy with the selection, there were no customer inside the store when I was there and the staff was not really paying any attention to me being tucked away in the beer aisle for over an hour selecting over 20 different bottles to sample. |
76 Originally reviewed: 1/26/10. Stopped here today when in the area. The beer section is tucked way in the back in the last aisle. Like other TW, this one is no exception. They carry a large number of American craft beers, in both sixers and singles. They’ve got a decent Belgian and German selection as well. They’ve got a small section of shelf dedicated to seasonals as well. I think they’ve got a better selection of bombers than the W-S TW too. I grabbed a few of the beers I hadn’t seen anywhere else and was on my way. I am never disappointed with the selection at this store. Check it out. |
94 Excellent selection |
86 They have got a very decent selection. the only thing that they really lack are Belgian sours, or American wilds. They have pretty much everything regional that I can think of, which is really nice to see. They also have really good tastings put on by their distributor. The last tasting that I went to was Brewdog. The value is always as good as it gets. The in store service is good too, just don’t expect much of a response if you email with a request or a question. |
74 I went to this location thinking it was going to be like any other Total Wine I have visited. Upon pulling up the overall look of the store on the outside is completely different from most I’ve seen and looked very nice. Upon going inside it is setup like any other Total Wine. Went into the beer section and was blown away with the selection I found. Mainly because I can’t get most of the brews I saw down in South Carolina. They even had a beer sale/clearance table when I was there. Not sure how often this is the case, but it was nice to see. The staff were helpful in guiding me to what I was looking for if they had it. Next time I’m in Greensboro again, I am definitely stopping by again. |
80 TW&M is a really good place to pick up craft beer in the Greater Greensboro area. They have awide selection of 6-packs, bombers, and 750’s as well as singles (where you make your own six pack...or just buy a single bottle). They have been helpful in reserving cases of seasonals for me in the past and are overall pretty helpful. This is one of the three places in Greensboro I go for beer. |
56 The same as every other Total Wine location. The usual selection of microbrews but every once in a while you find a nice new release. |
70 I mean it’s a total wine but has the locals and regular beers from micro brewers distributed in North Carolina. Any one offs and most seasonals you will have to find somewhere else. Like these places ’cause they let you split any and all sixers (or at least I did). Among the usual suspects you can find Bells, DFH, Carolina Brewery, Cottonwood, Highland beers. I also found some Czechvar which I had not seen before but know it is widely distributed. Friendly staff, sterile environment. |
