66 This place has kind of a weird feeling to it, I can't really put my finger on it. Helpful staff though. |
66 So, my wife and I fondly remember the dawn of the original TBC in Los Lunas, with the quirky toy tractor collection and such. This place has some of those pieces outside, but is now essentially a college neighborhood bar. The bartender was awesome, the beers good, so I’d go back. Right across the street from the original Il Vicino. Brewery #740. |

This is a fun spot. Pretty much a college bar with a brewery in it. It’s not completely over run though, so you can still find a seat. They also have about a dozen house beers on including several seasonal beers. I had a glass of the Berlinerweisse but without syrup or fruit it’s just a plain old Berliner. Also tried a sampler. Most of the beer isn’t very good but it’s tolerable and not loaded with flaws. The tractor stuff all over the restaurant is pretty funny but fits well with the college bar theme. Prices weren’t bad and the server was nice. All around this place is just average. |
62 They have definitely improved on their recipes over the years (you have to when you have Marble and El Cumbre in town). Awesome location. Friendly and helpful staff. |
72 Newest craft beer venue addition to Nob Hill district in 2011. 20 place laquered wood U-shaped bar. Dozen inside and dozen patio 4-top tables. Artwork and tractor memoribilia on walls. Garage door opens to patio that is enclosed in winter and open with a view of Sandia Crest in warmer months. Smoking allowed on patio in summer :(
One TV at bar showing sports but fortunately music sound system is only audio. Levels compete with but don’t drown out conversation. Crowded most every night after eight. Mostly 20-30-somethings, about 50/50 men/women. |
