56 I visited this place in March 2016 and was pleased to find that they have expanded their selection considerably compared with previous ratings. Counting the number of shelves and bottles on one shelf I’d estimate them to have around 120 bottles by now. Pricing was reasonable if not cheap. I don’t remember all the details of the selection now but as I remember it they had both Danish and Belgian as well as some American and English beer. Specifically, I bought the following bottles: Mikkeller Black, Hornbeer Kong Henrik and a Rochefort 8. The staff was friendly and said that the many new craft beer bars in Aarhus had contributed to them expanding their selection and also deciding to launch a few beer tasting events in the future. They do however still let their suppliers curate their selection. |
34 Fine wine and spirits store with a small selection of beers, 20 or so bottles. A few Mikkellers, some other danish micros and some belgians. Decent service although no interest or knowledge about the beers they sell. Go somewhere else, even Århus have better beershops than this. |
46 This is a wine store, where the owner seem to think that they need to have a small selection of beers as well. The staff displays absolutely no interest in beers. I asked them if they had more beers elsewhere. He found more of the same and when I pointed that out he said outright, that he didn’t know what beers they had and that the distributor handled their beers alone. The selection seems to have grown a bit from the previous 20 bottles, but there’s nothing you can’t find elsewhere. |
36 Small place with a few beers, cider and meads. Ok service but not much knowledge or interest in beers. |
40 Ok wineshop with apr. 20 beers of high standard , Grauballe f.ex. They also have mead. Not a very good beer place. |
