**Still called Twin Rivers Brewing**

This is a fancy restaurant in Monroe, and that alone makes it ambitious. Monroe didn’t really have anything fancy until these guys took over the place. It has always been called Twin Rivers Brewing, but the brewery sold with the bistro in early ’11. The new owners are slowly reviving the brewery side, though they’re restaurant people, not brewers. But they’re learning. The food here really is good, they’re ambitious and they’re very experienced. I’m eager to get back in here and try more of the beers again. They were always kinda hit or miss before, but the hits were really good, and it’s cool that they’re out here doing something aggressive in the middle of nowhere.
