74 Probably the most impressive selection I’ve seen at a Wegman’s. 8 taps in the "Pub" area. Most are macro crafts like Sam Adams and Goose Island, but they did have Nugget Nectar and an exclusive from Sly Fox. The bottle section is expansive with at least three BYO six pack sections, lots of locals and less common beers and with their large allocations it looks like things might stick around a bit longer here. I can’t imagine there is a better selection in KOP. |
82 Best part of Wegman’s is the pricing. They keep overhead low and the savings is passed on to the consumer in this instance.
Selection is pretty decent. Lots to choose from. I believe 8-10 coolers and 6-8 shelves worth of beer to check out. Pretty deep bench...and can’t beat the prices. Probably not going to find too many rare beers here but you could get lucky. |
66 I think this may be one of the best Wegmans bottle shops I have been to. The atmosphere and quality are about the same as all of the others. The service at this particular location is very good. They are always close by and have a decent amount of beer knowledge, enough to answer almost every question asked to them when I was there.
Selection is just like the other Wegmans I have been to, and then some. I found a Founders Bolt Cutter recently which was a bit of a surprise, it was even a decent price. They also have been known to have 1-2 Russian Rivers available, mainly Damnation. Prices are pretty good as well, more than reasonable for that area and this state in general. Overall a very nice option that I will return to in the future. |
60 Hey, for Pennsylvania, I can’t complain. I see someone notes there are taps here. I may have seen them at there market cafe but haven’t tried that. Despite PA laws, it’s nice to have a bottle selection rather than be forced to buy a case. |
62 Pretty standard Wegman’s selection. Solid offerings from the Old World, West Coast breweries, and local stuff, too. Bombers, six packs, mix a six, and a few 5L mini-kegs. Prices are lower than in Philly, which is nice. The Wegman’s Pub has a few taps and you can get growlers. It’s nice when nearby but no reason to go out of your way. |
64 This is my first experience of Wegman’s, and rating it as a Brit who is on the lookout for beer ticks in a strange town, it’s a great find - I wish we had supermarkets like this at home. An extensive range of bottles, and a great price for a mixed six-pack. I can’t really comment on how rare the beers are - but there are very few I’ve come across before. And as a bonus it even has it’s own "pub", so you can refresh yourself after you’ve made your shopping decisions. Brits should note that they should take their passports - no id, no service - and our Driving Licences aren’t accepted. |
60 Not as good of a beer selection as Collegeville. Great prices. No need for me to sit in traffic to go here. |
58 Another Wegmans. I give this one credit for having doors on the beer coolers. 12 pack selection is better than others but the singles and 6 packs are pretty much the same as every other wegmans. |
50 Grocery store ambiance. Rather poor service. Decent selection. Pretty good prices. |
