3.8 Natian Cease and Desist Draft pour, enjoyed at Portland Brew Fest. Has to be my first ever Kahlua beer, so I suppose a milestone rate this is. I've now had as many Kahlua beers as BrewDog beers. File this rating under Fun Fact included. A near black pour. My first dark pour of this festival. Brown foam head. Huge roast on the aroma. Coffee beans. Has a hint of coconut and/or cherry like character to pair. Cool, smooth toasty flavor. Coffee roast. Toast. Milk chocolate dominated. Smooth overall. It's honestly been 8 years since I've had Kahlua, so I can't quite be sure about the profile as far as that goes. Some wood in the linger for sure. Not too sweet for a beer in the style. Unique and flavorful. Very good. Saturday, July 7, 2018

3 Natian Knockback Amber Lager Tap at restaurant, Portland, Oregon. Has a slightly hazy mahogany colour with a small light beige head. Careful aroma of leather, bread, grass and subtle caramel and dried fruit. The flavour is more malty with leather, bread, grass, dried fruit and a little dry in the end. 3.5 Natian Knockback Amber Lager Draught. A great looking beer amber body with nearly white head. Light aroma, perhaps the beer was a bit too cold. Malt body, sweet with a bitter edge. Good finish. Friday, December 15, 2017

3.2 Natian CuDA Cascadian Dark Ale 16oz in shaker at Lion's Eye. Chocolate brown with feeble tan foam. Very fruity, figgy nose, like opening the bulk bin of those whole wheat fig Newtons. Taste is tart and bitter to go along with herbal and roast components. Lighter body makes sense for style, but palate lacks the pop of, say, a Deschutes brew. Wednesday, December 6, 2017

2.4 Natian Full Pour Imperial Indian Pale Lager Draft - Pale amber color. Has a sweet taste to it, reminds me a lot of the Dogfish 120. For my tastes a little to sweet. Slight alcohol taste to it as well. I just wish there was more of a bitter taste to it. Tuesday, October 3, 2017

2.4 Natian 50 shades of (Earl) Grey Draft - Sweet smell to it. A head that really sticks around. Tons of tiny bubble that just don’t go away. Another high alcohol and sweet IPA. Honestly it tastes very similar to the Full Pour Imperial Indian Pale Lager. The color is darker, more on the amber side but many of the same flavors going on. Tuesday, October 3, 2017

3.6 Natian Undun Blonde Ale Nothing special on appearance or the nose, but a well-crafted take on a Golden Ale. It’s very sessionable and has just enough of a bite to make things interesting. It drinks like a lager and has good flavor. Wednesday, September 21, 2016

3.6 Natian Old Grogham Imperial IPA 16 oz can poured. Rating #2002, the same year Oskar Blues began canning their own beer and starting something great. In respect, I choose a canned beer to celebrate. Dark cloudy copper pour with a patchy head. Big earthy malt aroma. Caramel malt flavor, dominating the hops. Lingering caramel. Definitely a winter IPA. I enjoyed this. Sunday, January 31, 2016

4.6 Natian CuDA Cascadian Dark Ale I am drinking this at home for the first time . It poured perfectly in my Guinness glass, I could have pressed in a clover if I knew how. It would pair well with a Scotch egg, sweet potato fries or just friends and conversation . A darker ale with a smoothness that made me happy. Leaves a nice flavor, not too bitter or thick. Give it a try. Saturday, December 5, 2015

3.1 Natian Old Grogham Imperial IPA My Bottom Line: This Barley Wine-like Double IPA relies on conifers and candied oranges in a rough and tumble mouthfeel. Further Personal Perceptions: -A veil of foam sits atop the murky dull red. -The flavor profile and texture are rather unrefined. -Green bitterness is not intense, which is fine by me. But it does make the sweetness appear more prominently. -The soft bubbling also makes the body feel heavier. Can. Saturday, October 17, 2015

3.6 Natian Old Grogham Imperial IPA A reddish brown DIPA with a thick receding light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with loads of treacle, butterscotch, licorice notes, alcohol warmth and surranated hops. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with orange pulp, floral hops, grapefruit pulp, licorice notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. 2 year old can. Shared with MartinT. Thursday, October 8, 2015

3 Natian Undun Blonde Ale Can. 16 ounces. Pours a mostly cloudy orange color with a small white head. A light fruity nose, dusty caramel. Odd one, caramel, oxidation, apricots. I really get a lot of oxidized malts, hmm. I actually enjoy those flavors generally. Sunday, September 13, 2015

3.9 Natian CuDA Cascadian Dark Ale Had on tap at Barrel and Keg in Salem Oregon with my brother B5. Color is an interesting light reddish brown yet opaque. The hops is present with a citrusy twist, well balanced with solid toasty biscuit malts. Decent off white head that stays as a thin top layer. A good example of CDA. 9.0 BD Sunday, May 31, 2015

3.2 Natian Old Grogham Imperial IPA Brackish brown, with no head. Aroma is sweet and oxidized malt, with an orange liqueur note. Tastes sorta the same, but not much about this is quite right. There are some burnt caramel notes into the finish, but overall, this tastes like an inexperienced homebrew IIPA. $3/16oz Thursday, March 19, 2015
