Wilde Child Parallel Commonality
Handpull cask at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Light golden, hazy with a small tight white head. Fresh aroma, some light tropical fruit and earthy notes. Bittersweet taste, a little bit soapy. Brighter bitterness nearer the finish, nestling on the tongue in the aftertaste. It's okay.

Wilde Child Razzle Dazzle
Poured dark brown body with ruby lights and tan foam lace. Aroma raspberry jam and roasted malts. Taste is full sweet with the raspberry initially then mellows a little to a light toffee malt finish. Medium bodied slightly sticky texture average to soft carbonation and a light bitter finish. If this is pastry it's raspberry doughnut.

Monday 8th April 2024, Skipton Pub Crawl with Ant, Maureen, Margie, Auntie Sue and me, plus Tilly and Bertie (the dogs). Hand-pulled half-pint in the Boat House. Black with a tanned topping. Nice chocolate and nutty flavour, body is richer than the 4.9% ABV should be, on the sweet side for sure, but I really liked it.

Wilde Child Hedonistic Experience
Can from LCB, 7 months in date. Pours black with thin beige head. Aroma of chocolate, dark malts, lactose, slight dustiness and berry. Taste is the same but more balanced than some of the flavoured stouts and porters I've had from this brewery recently. Its sweet but not overdone and the fruity element works well here.

Wilde Child Rik Van Nutter
Can from LCB, 8 months still in date. Pours near black with small beige head. Aroma is sweet with mostly chocolate but also dark malts and hint of hazelnuts and coffee beans. Taste of chocolate flavouring, some nuts, dark malts. Sweet with a modest roasty bitterness which prevents it being sickly. Medium bodied, slick. A little sweet and limited but quite nice. However, according to the blurb on the can this was brewed with 7 different malts and then they stick so much chocolate flavouring and lactose in to make that rather irrelevant. This is a chocolate beer and any malt complexity is masked.

Now I've read it, ot says biscoff which makes a lot of sense. Palate - medium bodied and sweet. Still sweet on the finish. Overall - a bit cloying.

Wilde Child Tenacious Turmoil
Poured dark brown almost black body tan cream top. Aroma of toffee malt rather than treacle. Medium sweet to bitter with a definite toffee treacle note but thankfully not over powering. Medium sweet slightly sticky texture as befits a treacle stout, average carbonation and a bitter finish. Compared to the peanut butter stout I had earlier this one works .
