A beer should be enjoyable from the pop of the cap to very last swig. The pour, the smell, the taste should invoke thoughts considering how all the different ingredients came together to bring you this delight. My personal preference is a chocolate vanilla stout, emphasis on the vanilla. I am not a beer snob, but rather opinionated on the subject. When reveling with friends, one cannot snub an offer of libations despite preference to the house fare.
