I love beer. I love everything about it. From the aroma of American Style IPA’s to the deep hue of Scottish Ales to the refreshing and spicy Hefeweizens to the no holds barred philosophy of Belgian brewers... everything about brewing fascinates me to no end.
That’s why I studied biochemistry and microbiology at Colorado State University (home of New Belgium, Odell, and Ft. Collins Brewery) with the desire to pursue a career in the brewing industry.
My favorite styles have evolved over time starting with ambers and then moving to Belgian tripels, American pale ales, American IPAs, Bavarian hefeweizens, Belgian lambics, English porters, oatmeal stouts, and finally back to tripels. It’s been an odessey for me and I look forward to the many more beers I’ll sample in the future.
