88 This is the place in eastern Ontario to get novelty or rare beers from the LCBO. |

56 Small selection of Ontario beer. A fair amount of mainstream crap. I was staying around the corner and it only came in handy to pick up a bottle to go with dinner. |
80 Une des meilleures LCBO, juste après le pont MacDonald-Cartier en provenance du Québec. Belle sélection locale et internationale, belle section dédiée aux bières, et des prix pour la plupart décents, avec en prime le service toujours excellent de la LCBO. |
82 The biggest and best LCBO in the city. I have no idea why it’s rating is so low. It has two floors of alcohol with a wide selection of beer thst you can’t find at most other locations. I have always found rare things there. Service is also good as it tailors to a wider crowd. |
56 An above average LCBO with a decent selection and ok prices. Staff were sparse on the ground on a busy Friday night. Nothing that special but maybe the best place in Ottawa for Ontario craft beer bottles/cans plus a few imports you may not see in Quebec. |
70 Best LCBO in town? Well its best I have been to. Solid line up , good selection and typical LCBO service, You might even forget you are not in Toronto. |
66 Bon choix de bière, ontariennes, américaines et internationnales, avec des prix intéressants. Service inexistant. Disons que ça fait changement des SAQ du Québec |
60 NOTE TO TOURISTS: Beer (and all alcohol) is not a free market in Ontario, There are no privately owned beer stores in this province. You can either buy beer directly from a brewery (when they have the facility to do so) or buy from the government store LCBO. To name more popular beer destinations I’d say Ontario is similar in many ways to Norway with their Vinmonopolets and Sweeden with their Systembolagets. Now, on to the place rating… I haven’t visited that many LCBOs but I often check the LBCO beer availability on the surprisingly always-up-to-date lcbo website. Some LCBOs gets better treatment when it comes to more limited beer availability and LCBO Rideau & King Edward is one of them. Some Toronto superior get good stuff that don’t make it to the northern part of the province but except for some of the best Toronto LCBOs I’d say this one is pretty much the best I know. The place has parking but you’ll often have to wait for someone to leave to get a spot. |
