“I have visited here twice now and have been very impressed with the huge range of beers that they have, I note that these are a small independent with this branch and a smaller one in Au in der Hallertau. Their 'bread and butter' is clearly with the more traditional range of beers and all of the big guys are well represented, however there is a pretty decent selection of more craft led brewers, ok so not the guys who do cans, but regardless it is still pretty good. I think that I will dip into here from time to time and pick up plenty of new rates. In terms of location it is quite easy to find, head over the bridge over the Isar and stay on the ST2350 road in the direction of Landshut and it is just along here on the right, there is an Aldi Sud, Lidl and Fuel station and it is at the bottom of the street , so straight in front of you after you have turned off the main road. There is ample parking and inside it is well laid out, wines to the rear, most of the traditional is off to the left-hand side, the craftier options are on an aisle in front of the wine area. Prices are very good, payment with a card is accepted, it is well worth a browse because they must have 300+ beers“

“We visited here Wednesday 1st May 2019, we sort of stumbled across this place as we were looking for somewhere, where the traditional raising of the Maypole takes place. I am completely unfamiliar with Moosburg so I am not best placed to describe where this is exactly however I do know that it's to the west of the centre on the Freising side, I guess it's address on Münchener Straße is a clue. We saw signs for the train station so I imagine that it's doable by train from Freising or further afield. We'd arrived 30 minutes before they started to lift the maypole, the Biergarten was already rammed and everyone, young and old were having a great time. A lot of people were dressed in traditional clothing and it really was quite an interesting couple of hours watching the whole spectacle. The beer choice was from Erdinger, Hofbräuhaus Freising and Grünbacher, I was on medication so settled for an alcohol free weiße from Erdinger, Loz had a standard Weisse. I only ventured Inside to use the toilets but it was simple, nice, clean with plenty of tiles and wood around. The beer garden is out the front and borders the road though is shielded from this by a wall. There is a childrens play area off to the side of the Biergarten. We liked this place, it was very friendly, the food looked good, and it's one of the few that we've encountered that appears not to be tied to a single brewery.“

“This place sent me a defective product (yeast) in a package that was already swollen (Wyeast smack packs are supposed to swell after you activate them) with a manufacture date of 6 months prior. Wyeast smack packs are supposed to be used by months - they should have known that this package was most likely not viable and should never have shipped it to me. When I asked them about replacing it, Fritz offered to sell me another package without shipping charges. I will never use them again for my homebrewing supplies and will only order from Brouwland going forward.“
