Smaakt koffie, beetje ijzer, chocolade.

(Draught at Little Delirium Café, Brussels, 26 Oct 2013) Black colour with creamy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, black rye bread and a dry finish with a generous roasty bitterness. Almost full body, quite dry. Well made and tasty stout. Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 1, 2013
courtesy of Carole and Anna - black beer with a quite long lasting dark beige foam; roasted aroma of mocha and vanilla, some undefined spices; medium-bodied, pretty fair sweetness underneath; finishes dry and bitter with a strong spicy, medicinal herbs-like touch - a bit weird

From bottle. Black and opague. Roast, licorice and onions in the aroma. Sharp citrus flavor, roasty with coffee and licorice. Very tasty, but out of balance.

Bottle shared at Borefts ’13, thanks to Kamiel (Countbeer), 27/09/13. Light black with a thin tan head, floaties are evident. Nose is roast malts, slightly lactic notes, cocoa, earthiness, mineral notes. Taste comprises cocoa powder, mineral bite, roast malts, dark fruits, tarte fruit tang. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, dry finish. Ok - nothing I’d revist.
