UPDATED: MAR 30, 2024 Old Untappd checkin, July 16, 2016. Has a bit of a malty body, but the star of the show is the intensely bitter hop finish.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2024 Old note. Golden, white foam. Aroma and taste: hoppy and malt, good malt profile, tropical-fruity, orange and pine, not bad.

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2023 The aroma is hops, citrus and pine. Pours a fairly clear yellow-orange with big white head mostly diminishing and very good lacing. The taste is a medium bitter. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation average. Leaves a slight burn but has a wonderful taste/feel.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2023 Pours an amber color with a white head. Aroma is citrus and floral hops, caramel malts, and a hint of alcohol. Flavor is the same with a bitter finish.

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2022 0,335l can from Mike's Beer Bar in Pittsburgh. Pours cloudy golden. Citrus, some piney notes. Strong body but not boozy. Sweet and bitter. Nice.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2022 Unsure of where this one came from. Halftime? Headed into a globe glass, a clear, strong gold with the barest ring of silvery bubbles. I smell something woodsy and piney. The drink is strongly grapefruit with lemon perhaps, dry crackers, malt and hops. A heavy dose of bitterness, old time IPA obviously. Good but it ends there.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2022 05Feb2022 Bitter floral notes, citrus and tropical fruits, orange peel, candied mango, sweet malty background. Clear gold, medium, creamy white head. Medium bitter. Bittersweet malt backbone, candied mango, orange peel, soft carb, full bod. Old-fashioned, boring. Bottle from Whole Foods Market.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2021 Orange, barley malt, pine, and grapefruit peel aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate light tan head. Moderately sweet orange, lemon-lime, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel and pine flavor. Good body. Standard.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2022 Rich off white bubbly head over ginger ale golden color gold. Head fluffy, a 1-2 finger -retains. Thick lacing. Citrus and forrest fragrance. Clean hop with sharp strike on 1st taste and thereafter. Remarkable head retention. The bitter bite is moderate then smooth, and rolls all over the palate. Good warming feel brought on with each successive taste. Recognizable IPA, not over the top, that presents a pleasant finish.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2020 12oz can courtesy of Headbanger poured into a Shaker. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and a nice rocky head. Aroma is hoppy with a nice malt note. It has a lighter medium body with a crisp mouthfeel. Flavor mild malt then a crisp citrus hop flavor a sharp bitterness. Aftertaste has a soapy note that seems to come out of the citrus and the bitterness lingers on. Overall its a bright, crisp, and refreshing Imperial IPA that hides the ABV well.
