UPDATED: JUN 25, 2023 500ml bottle from Spa, Backwell. Clear amber-golden appearance, smallish white head retains well. Nose offers cereal malts, subtle honey and citrus hops. Taste follows, smooth lightish easy drinking palate, subtle earthy hop bitterness.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2023 Bottle at home, thanks to Michael, 23/04/23. Copper pour with a good sized lasting white cap. Nose is stewed fruits, biscuit, grains, hedgerow, earthy. Taste comprises earthy fruits, brown bread, herb, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable affair.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2022 Klart ljusbrun med ett fluffigt skum som lägger sig snabbt som en lättöl. Maltig, brödig svag doft med en smak som motsvarar. Lätt beska. En läskande och lätt historia.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2021 Bottle from Waitrose. Pours a clear deep copper colour with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Aromas of clear bottle skunk, toffee, caramel, toasty bread and a bit peppery. Taste has more caramel, toasty bread, a touch more peppery spice and also a hint of nuts. Thin to medium body and fairly smooth mouthfeel. Not bad really.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2021 500ml bottle from Morrisons, online. Pours a clear amber, small off-white head, some retention and lacing. Aroma of bready malts, caramel, raisin. Its fine, if a little standard. Taste starts malty with notes picked up from the aroma, and there is a long modest hoppy bitter tang in the finish. However the middle is very thin and watery. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, light oiliness. Very average.
