luttonm (7592) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 29, 2017Bottle in Seattle. Soft head, a touch of yeast haze on a light orange body. Yeast and apples on nose. Sip is a bit flat and muted, peppery apples and a bit of tripel-like ester. Some honey flavored dustiness. I suppose this might be old, no real hops coming through. Any Brett is highly muted.
edgallow (5025) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 19, 2017Pours a golden with a white head. The aroma is of sugars and fruity esters; there is an intense blend of tropical fruit. The taste is fruity and yeast. Later, this finish becomes more dry and bitter with a hint of grapefruit and hops. The taste also becomes more complex; a yeasty flavor takes over as well as hops that balance the sweet tone.
