UPDATED: SEP 13, 2022 Amber body with big foamy ivory head. Aroma is citrus (orange marmalade) and caramel. Taste is hoppy over a nice malty base. medium lasting hoppy finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2022 Bière ambrée avec une mousse blanche assez présente. Nez sur les agrumes, surtout citron et mandarine, notes de caramel. En bouche, c’est le côté malté qui ressort dans un premier temps, avec que les fruits prennent le dessus. Finale sur une amertume assez prononcée.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2021 Bottiglia. Territorio olfattivo dominato dal luppolo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta velato. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di caramello, miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pino, agrumi, pompelmo e arancia rossa.

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2020 18.05.2020 - 0.33l bottle from the italian shop at fribourg station, 3-4fr, bb 16.09.2022. pours a hazy pale amber with a steady dense head. aroma of caramel, orange marmalade, sweet floral notes. flavour of oranges, caramel, biscuit, honey. bittersweet (more bitter than sweet) finish. nice but not very aromatic for an ipa.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2020 On tap at Sapore, San Martino. Cloudy dark orange with medium white head. Malty, some caramel, citrus, oranges, nice bitter finish. Easy drinkable and nice pairing with pizza. Medium bodied.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2020 33cl keg from Blackmarket Hall, Roma (€6): Medium amber with a clear body that has a copper tinge. It's sweet & malty on the nose with some sugars & bread malts. The taste is mainly caramel & sugars with a touch of biscuit & bread malts but it seems slightly unbalanced at the end. There was some fruits in there but they weren't too pronounced sadly, only some faint strawberry-like flavours sneaking in at times. The body was medium & it was quite smooth but it could have been a lot better.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2022 Ipa grungy, et donc american ipa, de 6,3 % abv pour 15° plato et 60 ebu. Malts pale, crystal et choco. Houblonnage en columbus, athanum et centennial. Mon exemplaire était à 22 mois avant sa date. L'adéquation au slogan ' smells like beer spirit ' est cette fois parfaite !! Couleur ambré profond, aux reflets châtain, et à la clarté nette. Bulles moyennes, partout, vives. Mousse beige,crémeuse, stable à 3 mm. Arômes de malt grillé, orange, pointe de tabac blond. 1ère bouche à la belle entame, avec une amertume très précise. Arrière-bouche qui est celle d'une amber bien houblonnée. 2ème bouche au bel équilibre malt/houblons. Arrière-bouche bien maltée, agréable. La longueur tient l'amertume en bonne place, mais garde aussi ce côté bien malté agréable. La complexité par contre est très faible. Jambes à flocons moyens, assez courtes. Levure correcte. Alcool correct, il peut travailler valablement la longueur. Finale assez linéaire. CONCLUSION : belle ipa pas grunge pour moi, parce que bien maltée, et qui donne dans l'ensemble des nuances agréables.
