UPDATED: APR 8, 2022 Really smooth. It starts out a little sweet and ends on a nice toasted note. Really enjoyed!

Bottle. This was ok for a session beer. Primarily dry malt flavor, with hops at the end. Dry malt, early. Some hops at the end. it goes down easily, even if it doesn't push the style description.

Bottle to mug, the appearance was a murky amber color with a fingers worth of white foamy head that slid off at a decent pace. Some light lace. The aroma had some roasted malts, light nutty sweetness, some toast, light floral to herbal quality and then some dried leaves. The flavor was moderately sweet through the prior mentioned aromas to carry over in the aftertaste and finish. The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine and light. ABV felt right. Overall, seemed like a decent Irish red ale worthy of more pours.

Clear nutty color with a fine off white head. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a fine carbonation. Tad sweet and a fine bitterness. A bit oily texture. Bready, pine, fruity and hoppy flavor. A quite nice and tasty ale.

Another brew in the mediocre brew mass purchase made for guests who drank none. Reddish pour small head. Nose is herbal and brown sugar. Tastes of toasted malt, brown sugar, caramel, herbal, light red fruit, and that’s it. Semi sweet palate.

Amber color and mild hoppy aroma. Standard red taste, a little watery. Decent red but nothing special. On tap at cask fest.

Bottle. Pours caramel brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma of caramel, bread and mild nuts. Flavor of toasted malts, caramel, grains and had some nuttiness.

Bottle. Dark copper. Dominant caramel malts and some dark fruit. Interesting choice for a spring release but, very solid all around. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught @ Taproom, Coastal Extreme Brewing Company, Newport, RI
Pours clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, nuts, caramel, malt dust and hint of chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, nutty and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. It’s more like a brown ale but still very nice.
