On tap at the source. Pours penny copper with beige head. Nose is roast grains and some caramel. Taste is caramel, grains, nuts and a bitter smoky background. Body is medium. A decent ESB at best.

Cask, darker esb pour, dark amber. Its sweet and toffee-like not a huge fan of this esb style but the yeast character is absolutely spot on, very light herbs.

The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, moderate carbonation. Starts with caramel sweetness that surrenders to a lingering bitterness.
