Svartvit (1871) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - FEB 3, 2017
Bottle shared at the first post-Dean THT. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Way too herbal, nope. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium body, low carbonation.

Maakun (10309) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - FEB 3, 2017
Bottle at February THT. Almost clear golden with small bubbly white head. Massive sage, thyme, rosemary. Basically this is a lot like herb juice that would be good in dinner. Soft malts and sugar but mostly herbs. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Very herbal but also not too bad.

sjogro (9245) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - FEB 3, 2017
Sampled from bottle at THT Februari at "De Zuipschuit". Hazy golden with thin white head. Massive herbs, thyme, rosemary, provencial herbs. Light sweet and moderate vegetal bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Very herbal. I agree with kermis, this would probably go nice with anything chicken.

kermis (18395) - Amsterdam-ish, NETHERLANDS - FEB 3, 2017
Bottle shared at THT. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is huge herbal, thyme, rosemary, it’s all about herbs that would work pretty well with chicken. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Would pair well with a kipcorn.

ineedbeer (3829) - California, USA - DEC 14, 2016
Poured from a 750 ml bottle of one of the recent batches, 2014 I believe. Aroma is malty with toasted bread, nuts and caramel. Some fruity esters with red apple, pear and banana being most prevalent. Light citrus notes. Some phenolic notes with pepper and clove. Slightly woody note as well. Pours a slightly hazy, amber brown with a large, moderately thick and frothy, tan head that recedes fairly quickly. No lacing or legs. Flavor is slightly acidic with a medium light sweetness. Malt notes of toasted bread, caramel and nuts. Medium light fruit notes with pear, red apple and stone fruit as well as some lighter banana and raisin notes. Medium light bitterness. Light woody note. Light pepper and clove phenolic notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice darker saison. Good malt notes balance with nice fruit and phenolic notes. Lighter acidity. I still prefer the lighter Fantome saisons though.
