Bitterbill (3241) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - NOV 3, 2016Pours a cloudy orange red with a good head of foam and decent retention.
Smells and tastes bready and grainy, definitely not overly sweet. .could use more of that, imho.
Pretty ample body and carbonation.
Just another average Oktoberfest.
Patrickctenchi (7260) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - SEP 24, 2016Bottle:

shrubber85 (15036) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - SEP 9, 2016Bottle. Milk caramel malt and hay aroma. Dark amber with moderate head. Moderately sweet caramel malt, moderately sour lactic acid, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Okay body. Decent but way too acidic.
hopscotch (11919) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 22, 2015Bottle... Pours clear and amber with flashes of copper and a small, creamy, white head. The aroma is an eclectic assortment of maltiness, toastiness, nuttiness and fruitiness – fruitcake drizzled with warm liquid toffee. Full-bodied with modest carbonation. The flavor is fairly rich and malty, but not sweet - excellent balance. In fact, this actually trends slightly bitter in the finish. What’s not to like? Bottle courtesy of BVery!
beer_rookie (1126) - Arkansas, USA - SEP 30, 2015Pours a copper gold color. Two finger head, okay lacing. It’s not clear, it’s a little cloudy, and a little sediment floating around in there.
Aroma is amazing. It’s quite malty, and a little hoppy. Quite bready. It is quite sweet smelling. It smells like a Caramello bar. Such a high caramel aroma, I want to take a bath in it..
With a nose like that you would expect the taste to follow suit. But not so fast. I’m a little disappointed in the taste. It’s very malty in taste, it’s also a little hoppy. It’s bready. It’s sweet, but I’m not so much tasting the caramel I was smelling. I’m really tasting the malts. It’s very bready to the taste. It’s a little sweet, but very bready.
Mouthfeel is excellent. It’s easy drinking. It’s sweet, and dry. There’s barely any bitterness. It’s highly drinkable, and 6.1% ABV, is barely noticeable. It’s medium body at best. Maybe just a tiny bit of bitterness on the finish.
Overall, this is really good. Absolutely try this one if you can find it. I wish that caramel on the nose could make it into the taste. But otherwise, it’s still a fine Marzen!
weihenweizen (6991) - Charleston, West Virginia, USA - FEB 9, 2015Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle, BVery with the hookup, poured into an English pint glass. Slightly hazy copper with small off-white head. Aroma is light herbal hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and little small lacing. Taste is caramel malt, some slightly oxidized bread, some herbal hops, hints of dark chocolate, and slightly bitter finish. Slightly past its prime.
BVery (13631) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 23, 2014Bottle. Orange amber pour with a small white head. Toast and caramel. Fairly plain and simple. About what I expected.
AmEricanbrew (9085) - Oaklatx, Louisiana, USA - NOV 16, 2014Bottle@ trailer. Bright amber color with ivory foam. Vegetal, caramel, bready yeasty aromas. Smooth medium body. Nice toast, lightly sweet spicy caramel, bready, lagered flavors---not too bad.
Travlr (33920) - No fixed abode, New York, SLOVENIA - OCT 2, 2014Bottle. Clear amber color, fluffy of white head. Aroma of cereal and caramel. Taste is bittersweet caramel.
slowrunner77 (19964) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 22, 2014"Light roast and a pleasant caramel sweetness in the nose. Pretty light all-around, though. Flavor has similar attributes plus a hint of butterscotch and crisp hops in the finish. OK, but nothin special
