UPDATED: JUL 11, 2023 (Draught at Troost de Pijp, Amsterdam, 17 Feb 2023) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, dried fruit and apricots. Malty taste with notes of caramel, bread, apricots, toffee, brown sugar and a mild herbal bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and harmonious bock. Quite nice.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2019 Deep dark reddish brown with only a slight haze when held to the light. Smells of dark bread, sweet wood, raisins and light caramel. Taste is somewhat sweet and muted, but still has a nice bready malty flavour with some spice, caramel and very slight roast that has a drying quality in the mouth. The mouth feel is lacking, however, leaving it on the watery side, which does take away from this otherwise well made beer.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some caramelised malts. Not particularly complex or interesting but certainly well made and worthy of repetition.

PINT tasting. Poors opaque dark orange with small foam ring remaining. Taste caramel and fruits. (Arnhem 201809)

Nice Dutch fall season bock. Deep dark with a small beige head and medium carbonation. Slightly oily texture. Flavor of caramel, burned malts and some bitter coffee.
