Weevo (204) - Indiana, USA - JAN 14, 2018Bottle from beer club. Pours hazey orange with a white head. Bread, carmel, floral. Some sweetness with a little bitterness at the end. Nice to have an autumn beer where they didn’t take the clove and spice route.

hotstuff (5394) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 10, 2017Rated on 9-10-2017. (Bottle) This beer's appearance is a medium sized frothy, foamy, fizzy ivory head that mostly diminished, transparent copper body, lively, fast rising carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is very malty, toffee, toasted malt, caramel, light hops, earthy, sweet, and lightly floral. The flavor presents light bitterness, toasted malt, toffee, caramel, moderately sweet, and semi-dry. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. This is a very drinkable beer and is not a typical ESB-like tasting beer. It has a light hoppy finish to it and is very malt tasting. It is a beer that I would drink again.
DuffMan (10981) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 24, 2017On tap @ Radio Maria. Medium amber brown, pretty clear. Toasty malt with earthy and fruity undertones. Decent.
wlajwl (12659) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 19, 2017Aroma is English ale yeast/malts, fruit and a hint of tobacco. The flavor is fruit/berries, malts, very mild tobacco, mild sweetness in the middle and a dry/slightly hoppy finish.
scarletfire65 (1758) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - DEC 22, 2016Bottle at home with the wife, Caressa, and Apollo. Amber brown pour with a bone white frothy head. The aroma is sweet malt, cantaloupe, bubble gum, dead flowers. Simple flavor profile with sweet malt, brown sugar, toast, apricot, vaguely piney hops. More like an amber ale of mild ale than an English ESB, but pretty good.
Drake (21771) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 16, 2016Keg at Sugar Maple, 9/17/16. Clear copper, medium foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malt and caramel. The taste is toasted malt, grain, floral hops, honey. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.
MaltOne (695) - Wisconsin, USA - NOV 30, 2016Pours slightly hazy, dark copper... brief lacy white head. Aroma is slightly sweet biscuit/shortbread. Medium body. Flavor starts faintly sweet, then turns gently towards gently towards a slightly dryer hop finish. Nice allspice notes. A faint baked shortbread base. Overall, nothing like an ESB (if rated as such, it is off character) but on its own merits, it’s very pleasant... Nice Autumnal Seasonal character of a little sweetness and spice, but with enough hops to keep it from becoming overtly sweet, and a light to medium palate that makes it quite sessionable. Consider a different category.
