UPDATED: MAY 10, 2018 10-year aged bottle from Beer Bistro in Toronto. Wow, what a fantastic concoction. Aromas of oak, olive brine, cognac, and wine. Tasting notes of oak, olive brine, cognac, roasted nuts with a wine-like dry finish. Colour was a very deep amber, reminiscent of cognac. No head. Hands down one of the best aged beers I've had.

Countbeer (6586) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 3, 2014
Bottle: Served in a Cantillon Tumbler: Small off white vanilla foamy lacing. Hazy brown body. Aroma is a delicious mix of brett, lacto, wood, grapes, some raisin some red fruit, tart tones, some caramel and a hint of sweets. Flavour is a bit thinner than aroma: lots of different yeast, tart, wood, malts, caramel, hint of brown sugar, lacto, bread, some tartherbs, lots of tart fruits, some wood, grapes, raisin, some berries, light dry, lighter bitters... Aftertaste is a bit dry with yeast, lacto, wood, raisin, some caramel, malts and tart. Low carbo, creamy tart mouthfeel, more than medium bodied and a light dry light creamy texture. Gets better with an hour!
