TorbenJensen (2044) - Valby, DENMARK - JUL 16, 2015The foaming limited nougat colored foam. The aroma is smoky with notes of whiskey and burnt caramel. The taste is pretty smoky and reveals after some time a caramel flavor that is very dark and almost burned. Whiskey taste is located at the rear of the spectrum. Dark bitter chocolate and some light roasted coffee also get a seat on the tongue, but it it is the smoky character that retains lead all the way to the target. It is an unusual delicious Imperial Stout.
