UPDATED: NOV 4, 2020 Bottle aged for several years (7+?) opened on election night 2020 - hopefully to celebrate the demise of the con-man traitor in chief. Dark ruby red/ brown with a sweet candy caramel aroma. Sweet taste of brown sugar, Christmas cake and spices. Subdued little bitterness kick at the end. Tasty but it may have been better if I opened it a little sooner. I need to get a fresh brew to do a comparison

UPDATED: APR 29, 2020 Murky brown color with medium belge head. Aroma has malt, dark fruits, spices and ripe fruits. Taste is malty sweet with long finish. Flavors of malt, dark and dried fruits, caramel, yeast, spices and some nuts. Full of flavors.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2020 Brown color, small beige head. Aromas of brown sugar, yeast, dried fruit and ripe bananas. Sweet taste with brown sugar, raisins, ripe banans and syrup.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2019 Bottle shared. Pours murky brown color. Flavor of dark fruits, caramel, malts, sweetness, honey I suppose, nuts, spices, yeast and sugar. Quite malty and sweet combined with the Belgian yeast, a bit hoppy as well. Medium body and bitterness. Quite good balance, starts as a bit sharp overall, but after a few sips it gets more mellow and enjoyable.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2019 Bottle@Arthouse Kehräsaari, Tampere, Finland. Medium/strong, balanced nuances of overaged dark fruits, some dark malts, caramel, some yeast. A hint of spices. Some nuts. Medium taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with yeasty nuts. Medium body with medium, soft carbonation. Overall, high quality and vivid though bit light for the percentage. 5 4 7 4 14

UPDATED: APR 18, 2019 Getrunken auf der Braukunst live 2014 oder 2015...da bin ich jetzt nicht mehr sicher... Was ich noch im Kopf habe, war der Geschmack nach ein bisschen Mousse au chocolat und heißen Kirschen und dazu ein Schuss Obstler. Alles recht gut verwoben und zu einem interessanten Gesamtbild zusammengefasst.
