Message kdm1984 beers 1098 º places 14 º 06:37 Thu 6/12/2014 Core ESB. Outstanding resin bitterness, but a little sweet, and too watery on the palate. Core has some good stuff going on in all three of their beers I’ve tried now, but they can’t seem to get everything together in one beer so far.

Three drainpours today after the Core sampling! The major redeemer was Free State Stormchaser Summer IPA. One of the drainpours was Goose Island Endless. I’ve learned I’m not fond of most session IPAs.

I’ve learned I’m not fond of most session IPAs. session IPA’s! I don’t really care or them either. They just do not have any mouthfeel. It’s unpleasant to drink them. As much flavor as they try to impart, it’s all down a hole. =) The only one I really liked was Du Claws OZ Fractional IPA. I only had it once and I only haS any of them once. Cheers!
