Aroma of chocolate, malt, caramel, cake, oats and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture with average to soft carbonation. Has a dark chocolate finish. Jabah	3.3 WinterCoat Double Hop This was $5 off the hefty price tag on clearance, and now I know why. The "double-hop" label is a little deceiving, as this is more like an extra or regular pale ale as far as hopiness. Semi-cloudy dark yellow-light orange appearance. Mouthfeel a little flat, as I thought this style would have more carbonation. Flavor is grainy and grassy, not much malt....sorta like a saison-ESB hybrid. Aroma is pretty phenolic and smoky, mega phenolic, burnt grass, the soil under a garden incinerator. Body is light and frothy with soft carbonation. Taste is more of the same – phenolic, smoke, lightly woody. Obviously not meant to be like this and wouldn't do well if judged to style/for flaws. Light sweet flavour with notes of meat, dried berries, leather, smoke, a little plastic. Light bodied with average carbonation. Odd mouthfeel, some tooth-coating goo.
