edward78	4.1 Millevertus Mère Vertus Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a murky amber colour with a medium sized creamy off white head. Nice lacing on the glass. Aromas of ripe stoney fruits, ripe oranges, orange zest and some nuts. Taste is more notes of oranges, apricots, marmalade, hints of nuts, a touch of caramel and a citrusy orange pith hoppyness on the sweetish finish. Medium body with average carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. I’m not sure if this should be classed as a Triple or an IPA but this is the best beer yet that i have tried from this very good brewery. This really is an excellent beer! Wednesday, January 10, 2024
edward78	3.8 Millevertus Augure Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a deep amber with a reddish hue and a medium sized soapy looking off white head. Aromas of red fruits, berries, toffee, caramel and brown bread. Taste has dry dark fruits, more red berries, caramel and toasty brown bread with added notes of citrus orange, some ginger and a touch of brown sugar on a slightly sweetish finish. Thin to medium body with fairly low carbonation. Nice drink which seems to fit in nicely with this festive Christmas time of year. Friday, December 22, 2023

Aroma is a mixture of ripe stoney, citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is pretty much the same mixture of these fruity notes with lots of peppery spice and a citrus rind hoppy bitterness on the finish. Thinnish body with average carbonation. Nice thirst quenching beer with a good hoppy bite to it. Monday, December 18, 2023

Aromas of oranges, apricots, caramel and nuts. Taste has more full on citrusy notes with lots more oranges and apricots, more caramel, hints of nuts and an orange peel hoppy bitterness lingering on the finish. Thin to medium body, fairly low carbonation and a smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Nice hoppy beer with a tangy bite. Sunday, December 17, 2023

Taste has more of the orange and caramel notes, more nuts and some woody notes. Some alcohol lingering on a spicy (chilli), peppery and tangy finish. Medium body with a fair amount of carbonation. jybi	3.1 Millevertus Poivrote Cette Poivrote est sauvée par le poivre intégré à la recette qui donne du caractère et du relief à une base qui est relativement insipide. Il aurait tout de même été plus sympathique qu'un poivre subtil vienne réhausser une bière complexe. Le visuel est sur un blond orangé voilé avec une fine effervescence moyennement soutenue. Le nez est plutôt intéressant sur une alliance poivre, girofle, thym, pain et abricot. En bouche, c'est beaucoup plus pauvre avec un poivre bien présent mais qui est là uniquement pour pallier une bière pauvre et manquant de caractère. L'attaque est dans un premier temps mollassonne et sur des arômes simples (caramel, pain) avant que le poivre bien présent. La deuxième bouche est plus homogène avec un peu plus de tension aromatique mais avec un alcool à 7% mollasson. Ce dernier se fait un peu plus ressentir en arrière-bouche néanmoins. La corpulence est très moyenne et la longueur décevante. La base mériterait d'être retravaillée. Sunday, December 3, 2023

rand	3.7 Millevertus Primitiva Nyala Bière marron voilée, reflets orangés, courte mousse instantanément dissipée. Arômes aigres-doux, vineux, balsamiques, fruités et floraux. Le goût est plein, chaud, acidulé et vineux, d'attaque un peu rêche. On détecte l'alcool et des notes rôties maltées. Présence du Nebbiolo avec ses notes de goudron, violette et rose. jybi	2.3 Millevertus Fumette C'est toujours ce que je crains sur une bière fumée, que cette dernière manque de finesse et vienne vous envahir le palais et ainsi tuer tous les autres arômes. C'est exactement ce qui se passe ici, à mon plus grand damne sur des arômes de feux de bois et de bacon trop présents. Le visuel est sur un ambré voilé avec une fine effervescence moyennement soutenue et une mousse blanc cassé de 5 mm. Le nez sent fort le bacon cuit au feu de bois. Ce n'est qu'en retrait que des arômes de caramel et d'agrumes arrivent à se faire ressentir. A la dégustation, les arômes fumés sont tout autant prégnants. Sur l'attaque toutefois on arrive à ressentir les arômes d'agrumes, de céréales et de caramel avant que les arômes fumés viennent tout emporter. En seconde bouche, le fumé prend tout le palais et façon déplaisante. L'arrière bouche est davantage comme l'attaque. Le final, moyennement long voit le fumé moins s'exprimer ce qui personnellement me soulage quelque peu. Beaucoup trop de fumée.... Sunday, April 16, 2023
