Duvel Tripel Hop Citra in Tesco Bicester last night. I’m not sure if this was there by accident as they hadn’t got prices for single bottles of it but I scooped up a few. Interestingly I was told that they had a price for a 12 pack so perhaps they maybe be selling it soon?

I found a case in my local TESCO a few months back, was with the regular Duvel boxes, they knew nothing about it but offered me it for the normal price.

<*))))))><

Elvis Juice, 4 cans for £5 in Tesco this week, a damn good fridge filler. Brewdog sell it for £2.50 per can on their own website.

Ok. I found triple hop today in Tesco, but wasn’t gonna buy any right there, but an employee comes and removes like 12 bottles .

And in Sainsbury too. Saw that on Tuesday a bit of a steal.

My local Tesco had several other newbies . Thornbridge peach ipa and a cucumber beer which sounds gross. Several other new craft beers too. I’m intrigued by this Duvel Triple hop situation , though.

That’s certainly a good deal.
People give brewdog shit, some of it justified, but I like their beers overall and their general entrepreneurial spirit .

I’m an EFP shareholder and as you say overall they are good to have on the UK beer scene. Some of their beers are very good indeed. I visit their bars often but I usually hit the guest beers!

Me too. Apart from the entrepreneurial spirit bit, which would be fine if it wasn’t for the phony punk veneer. No doubt flogging heaps of their beer to big supermarkets at rock bottom prices is in the cause of infiltrating and subverting the mainstream. Shame they don’t apply the same pricing model to the drink-in prices for bottles and cans at their own bars. I recently spotted Jaipur X in the fridge at BrewDog Bristol for a, frankly silly, £10 - 7 quid for the can plus 3 quid "corkage".

Yes that pricing is a bit naughty. Btw for anyone interested, yesterday I got a case of 12 Jaipur X on the Thornbridge website for a frankly bargaintastic £26.50 incl:postage instead of £47.00
