A very unassuming spot that has a small but great selection of beer. They even have an ice cider section. Prices are good and they have things that are sold out elsewhere. Maybe not the biggest selection, but a definite stop if you are in the area or have a car.

Update: I some how found my self here again, on another dreary late winter PNW day. I grabbed 4 IPA bombers for the hotels this week. Pretty good selection for a small market. One thing they did not have was cordizone..... I need so back these Floriduh mosqitos be killing me. Small neighbor hood grocer with a decent selection. Most of its selection is in the walk in cooler. Mostly PNW grabs but some other somewhat sought after things.

Visited here in early October ’16 to stock up on beer for the next few days that I would be in the area. Local, small, independent neighborhood grocery store. A majority of the beer is located in a walk-in cooler, a few shelves of bombers outside the cooler door. Has a very small section of miscellaneous singles which appear to be leftovers from broken sixers, Eclectic collection of PNW craft and some imports, many of which I had never seen before. Friendly checkout, decent prices, worth a stop if in the area.

Visited on 11th November 2014. Supermarket with an excellent range of bottles from CA and OR plus a good range of international offerings. The staff were really friendly, especially as we had a local with us, and he tracked down bottles of the latest Sticky Hands for us. Definitely worth a stop if nearby. You’ll find something you like.

Visited on Tuesday 11/11/14 around 3.30pm. Basically an out of (down) town supermarket with a great bottle selection. Approx 25/50% in the main store, the bulk in a self contained chilled room at the rear. Selection spans a good range from the US particularly CA - Bruery etc, and lots as you would imagine from OR, Block 15, Cascade, Logsdon etc. Lots of European offerings as well from Mikkeller and many more. The beer guy was very friendly and helpful and hit us up with some bottles of Sticky Hands which had yet to reach the shelves. Solid store well worth visiting, we took it whilst bar hopping between Columbia River and Alameda. Also grab yourself a block of the peanut butter fudge they sell at the checkout - boom !

Finally hit this place up. Great selection. A tiny packed to the brim cooler, quite a lot of beer really. Have plenty of good stuff, some rarities and as others have mentioned their long time beer guy Justin is awesome. Certainly a great place to shop.

This place was a bit out of the way, but had the Sucaba I was looking for so swung over. Great little grocery store with a walk in cooler that could not have been packed any tighter with beer. The stuff they had was excellent though, just wish I had more room in my luggage to take things home. Great service that was friendly and somewhat knowledgeable about beer even though the beer guy was not there.

The PDX insider’s store. First, I am biased because I have a good relationship with the beer buyer Justin. It’s a grocery store, so don’t expect much in the way of ambiance, but I’ve always had great service here when I ask about things. Selection is typically solid, and they’ll hang onto bottles for a bit longer due to being out of the way. Prices are average for around town, which is to say, there’s not much room to complain. I frequent this place at least twice a month, and I’m very glad I do. Recommended.

Smallish grocery store with a beer selection thta impressed me. They seem to have the best Belgium beers. Almost al of the Trappist beers and the best Flemish old ales (Rodenbach, Duchesse de Bourgohne to name a few). I’m not that familiar with the local beer market in Portland, but I got what I came in for.

The store itself has some funny stuff inside of it. It definitely is a market, and it does have a nice LITTLE beer cooler. Wow, the actual space where the sell the beer is TINY. With that being said, you would assume that I’m going to get into how crappy the selection is, but I can’t; they do so well, with the little space that they do have. Prices weren’t any higher, or lower, than any of their competitors. Given the fact that they only have so much space, they have great representation, beer wise. I wouldn’t expect to find a white whale here, but you’ll find some stuff that’s floating around everywhere else. They may have a couple of unique beers, that are hard to find in other places, but that’s not completely the case. Overall, great place, and I’d like to explore this part of Portland more. It’s in one of their many "pocket neighborhoods".
