I am George Costanza and I have reached beer geekdom. One of those raters that will try anything at least once. Lean more towards stouts, porters and dopplebocks as my favorites with a soft spot for bitters. I monitor the goings on in the newly burgeoning beer scene in north Florida which used to be a beer wasteland but has picked itself up recently. Many of my ratings are from traveling and fortunately I have been able to do a lot of that lately! Introduced to the site by Aurelius who I still regularly swap beers with. I am currently an Admin on site - my specialty is looking for minor annoying corrections - misspellings, missing ABVs, incorrect brewer websites, closed breweries etc.

On the OT Forums I am a quieter and gentler conservative and my goal in life is to rid the use of "retarded" as an adjective to describe something that is unbelievable or stupid. Tough job, but someone has to do it!
