60 13 taps + 1 cask on the menu, very small bottle list. Food was very unimpressive, beer was okay. 5oz pours available. Apparently they occasionally get some good guest taps and were one of the OGs in the city. |
90 Visited for a beer release just as a deluge was ending so I easily got a seat on the side deck beneath some towering maples. Live music, street blocked off for a party that the rain dampened. Inside is very characterful , brewhouse visible through glass both from the side entrance and from the deck. Inside bar is more or less U-shaped with a small extension, plus a few tables, plus more sidewalk tables out front. Service was quick and efficient. 14 beers on offer in an interesting variety of styles. Permanent food truck has tasty food, self service more or less. Great session |
70 Quite in the center. Patio was full, but plenty of room inside. They do serve flights, but it's kind of overpriced. Staff was helpful and friendly. English was spoken. |
76 2018-12-29. Decent sized bar with a side room full of pews. It has the not quite dive-y well worn character than can only be earned with age, and it suits it. 16 taps and a cask on today. Server is friendly. We did a flight of 8 and some pretzels that came with a side of nice mustard. The beers come in a range of styles and the ones we tried show significant improvement from previous samples ranging from decent to pretty good.

74 Visited for a late night pint on a friday in March. Classic pub atmosphere, a good range of beers on. Efficient service. Didn’t eat. Would like to be back. |

90 Nice terrace, needs a little fixing up but nice none the less. Great beer, well worth going |
72 Located in very dull surroundings (a viaduct, industrial mess, deteriorated road) off the tourist area of the city, this place is, nonetheless, worth a visit. It has a spacious, cozy interior and two large patios. The selection includes eight taps (all featured as flights in a carousel set) and some bottled beers, all brewed by the friendly staff. The beers are not mindblowing, some of them not very clean, but definitely drinkable. Nonfood served at lunch time, but guests are welcome to bring their own. Otherwise snacks and appetisers (firs, sausages and so on). Not very cheap but definitely nice. |
70 Nice brewpub with a lovely side terrace under the trees. A flight ’carousel’ can be purchased for sampling and they’re moderate size pours too. The beers were not great all told, with a few with noticeable flaws. I really liked the co-op concept with bringing in your own food and there’s even a microwave and plates/utensils provided. It’s a chilled atmosphere here and definitely worth a visit to hang out on a nice day. The owner/brewer? was really chatty and friendly and had great rapport with the customers. It’s a pleasant spot and slightly off the track from the busier strips in the area. |
72 Visited on a Friday at noon hour, which is incredibly busy. They don’t serve food here but you are invited to bring your lunch (they even provide microwaves to heat up your food) so a lot of workers from around use it to come have a pint with their lunch. Ambiance is good, really friendly cozy family friendly atmosphere. They have 8 beers on tap, decent selection that rotates quite frequently (this is the kind of place that makes a new beer every other batch). Prices I found a bit steep, but still reasonable. Worthy brewpub stop. |
