Hub Restaurant (Yaletown)

Visited here in mid August ’16 while on vacation. Great location located on a busy area with lots of restaurants and bars. Nice woody interior, classy looking place. Beer menu was quite short, but had a few locals. Food was outstanding. I had salmon, which was great. Service was friendly and prompt. Not a beer geek destination, but a solid restaurant.

Another place that could be good if they only realized less is more. Fantastic interior and layout ruined by huge TV’s surrounding the bar area. This is a bad cross between, lounge, sports bar and bistro. Service was pleasant. Beer list was local and boring and a complete rip off. They assume they can charge more because they use branded glasses? This place just makes me angry. Don’t go, they will be out of business soon.

Just around the corner from my hotel and surprised to see no ratings. Small but well picked selection of eight locals on tap, flights of four available, plus some well known not so locals in bottles. Food is higher end than your usual pub fare but tasty. Enjoyed it.
