62 /100 Boszorkánykonyha - Anett büfé (Restaurant) VACHOTT SANDOR STR Well, the name itself is a challenge for non-Hungarian-speaking beer hunters, as is the name of the town, but the trip is worth your while if you’re in the area. I visited the place on a short trip to Lake Balaton, en route to Croatia, and I can’t say I regret. The venue looks - and is - like one of the many patio-parasol-bathing suit eateries a few inches from the coast in a village living off summer tourists of a bath-loving but sea-deprived nation. Still, it is the only one having anything else than Hungarian macro lagers on tap, and thus worth a stop. The selection is modest for a beer hunter, including Belgian and German macros and a few Hungarians, all on tap and some bottled, but the food is good and the staff is very nice, although communication may be a (relaxed) challenge for non natives. Reasonable prices (by Hungarian standards; for a Sandinavian this must be sheer paradise). Could be back again if in the area. |
64 /100 Boszorkánykonyha - Anett büfé (Restaurant) VACHOTT SANDOR STR surprisingly good place with 7 beers on tap (Hoegaarden, Leffe Brune, Belle-Vue Kiek, Staropramen unfiltered, Staropramen,Stella Artois and Borsodi vilagos)and several bottles |
