The place is nice, with a central bar and a bunch of little hidden alcoves that gave the place a very intimate feeling. Duvel seems to be the offical sponsor of the place, with signs and bottles all over the place.
Beer list was typical of most places I visited in France. Crap on tap (Kro, Heineken, Lindemans Faro), a few trappists ($$) and other accessible Belgians, Germans and very little local rep. Service was a little lackluster, even by French standards, and they kicked us out at 1am for closing. I was expecting better from this place. “ |
