“This store is located in a strip mall type center near the Rhode Island border, and made a nice stop after "hiking" the RI high point, Jerimoth Hill. The layout is fairly open with wine displayed by region and liquor/spirits along the left-hand wall. Straight back the beer hangs out on shelves and in coolers, well away from the outdoor light. The beer selection is diverse with Belgian, Danish and regional selections taking the most space. The prices are good and the staff was helpful. There was a fair amount of dust decorating some bottles indicating that they may not see regular rotation.“

“Probably the best selection of Belgians I’ve seen in the state. Fantastic selection of anything available in Connecticut. Prices are standard, employees are very knowledgeable. Blase strip mall atmosphere, but a great store to stop by if you’re in the area. The only criticism I can offer is that if you’re this close to RI and Mass, you might as well buy in the states with the better distribution.“

“Great store, great selection, Jon is one of the more knowledgable guys around, if the beer you’re looking for is no there, he will do everything in his power to get it for you.“

“This store is located in a strip mall adjacent to a Stop N Shop grocery store. Located about 2.5 miles north of Route 6, North Main St (Route 12) takes you through the quaint downtown of Danielson, CT. Out of nowhere appears this strip mall on your right (if you are coming from route 6). The beer aisle is in front of you as you walk in, on the far right of the store. They have a good amount of local, regional micros as well as some other harder to find beers. I found some 1995 SA Triple Bock, as well as some Newport Storm 04 and 05. There were some Brasserie des Rocs beers that I have yet to see as well. You can mix 6 packs, which is good in my book. I also saw a couple bottles of Bush Prestige going for $40 located to the right of the register. Virtually no sake or meads at this store. They also have a "beer club", in which the members receive discounts. Probably worth making the detour from route 6, but I wont be making it a regular detour.“
