80 /100 Station Yard (Bar) STATION ROAD Lovely little micropub in old station premises, unsurprisingly close (50 yards?) to the station. Tastefully decorated interior in soft grey, but we sat outside in the garden which was large, and well furnished with tables of various size depending on the size of your party. The beers are predominantly from the local Winton brewery with a guest, which currently escapes me, and Thistly Cross cider. We sampled Mon Then, and Barry Swally, both on cracking form, delicious, and reasonably priced. The place was busy on a Bank Holiday Saturday afternoon, which along with covid regulations (table service), slowed service somewhat, but the staff were pleasant and attentive. We were visiting Dunbar to watch Dunbar Utd v Broxburn Athletic in the Scottish FA cup, and this place just capped a great day out. Didn't see any food apart from usual bar snacks. Unreservedly recommend. |
60 /100 SPOTT ROAD Due to weather conditions they had to close that day when I booked.. summer 2008. But they gave me 10 bottles as a compesation - that was super! |
