“Most recent visit, Friday afternoon, 08/12/23. Been coming down every few months since spring 2022 when I started back at the office 2 days a week. Usual smart Mikkeller set up, tiled, wood, high and low seats, candles in the evening. Service is always prompt and friendly. There's been a recent shift, chatting to the bar manager this last visit, to have more of their own brews in which suits me. 13 this afternoon, the most I've seen, usual spread of styles and all coming in 3.5-3.9 kind of scores. Shame they don't do the amazing home made pork scratchings anymore! A really solid stop and one I'll keep heading back to ... tie in with the Queens Head and Brewdog Clerkenwell.“

“Great bar ina lively London neighbourhood not too far from the British Museum. Went here after Craft Beer Co--about a 10-minute walk. Lots of London Mikkeller stuff on tap and a few guests. Beers available in one third pints. Lots of good stuff here, and the service was decent. Not the most hipster of Mikkeller places I've been to, which surprised me. I got a couple of cans to go for the trainride home as well. Big patio outside and lots of lively street action.“

“A little way down the vibrant Exmouth Market with a few tables outside perfect for people watching, inside it's a large open space with the bar in the middle of the right hand wall. Perfect relaxed place to sample keg Mikkeller brews or the odd guest.“

“A cool brewpub with seating for around 75 people on the ground floor and a small number of seats out front. Lots of concrete, brown tiles and painted walls. They have 20 taps of mainly their own beers. There is a small selection of bottles / cans in the fridge downstairs. Friendly staff, working WiFi. I’d spend time in here for sure if I lived locally. Beer quality was good.“

“Really nice venue. Solid range of house beers, a few interesting guests. Big range of bottles and cans, too. Prices are toppy but one should expect that from Mikkeller. Friendly service. Pleasant ambiance, nice looking place. Definitely worth a visit.“

“Visited December 2022. Used as a link between Hoxton and Exmouth Market walk. It's a very grand, old building with the interior retaining much of it's original features including the George & Dragon mosaic floor. it is a dining pub with all the tables reserved for later but thankfully not laid up. The beer range is a touch dull, just the one cask beer on my visit and some pretty basic London keggies. Laughably I was told that their own badged lager was made in Belgium. It is a place to visit for its original features rather than beer.“

“Been here a few times now, nice spot with plenty of seating inside and out, on the left can see all the brewing equipment downstairs as you enter and on the ground floor on the right the bar serves mostly their own beers (which are very nice so far) and a few guests. Smaller 3rd pours available so ticker friendly, helpful staff and well worth a visit. Now im back in London so often will make this one of my stops for sure.“

“Really fantastic spot in the middle of a charming pedestrian street. As always, Mikkeller has set up this place very nicely. There are 20 taps, over half of which were Mikkeller Brewpub London beers when I visited, and the rest being guest taps from all over. 1/3 pints of all beers available, with reasonable-ish prices. Unfortunately, the taplist was largely dominated by trendy hazy stuff, so that was a turn-off, but I still found plenty to choose from. The bottle list is small but decently well-curated. Very friendly and professional service. Mandatory visit when in London.“

“I guess this place is a bit different, styling itself as a sports bar brewpub. Not entirely how successful that is. It's a very large venue venue that is pretty well presented. And then has about 10 of their beers plus some ciders or such like. However me and my mate were the only customers for the 40 or some minutes we were there. However it was a Friday afternoon so perhaps all the city folk were working from home and you really need to see it on a Thursday when they are all out on the razz. Barman was efficient if not overly friendly. Also didn't seem entirely clued up about beer - and it may have been a language issie - but my query about whether the bitter was on cask really confused him. Impressive enough venue but Long Arm's are not impressive enough to make me want aim for a return visit.“

“Visited with Terje and Jon Einar 14.05.22. A corner pub with old, green tiles. 4 handpumps, of which two were on at my visit. There was beers from both microbreweries and from larger breweries in keg. They also do food, and they have table service.“

“This is a large, barn like pub that seems to have been the bar of a hotel, to get to the loo you have to go into the hotel lobby. It's main theme seems to be as a sports bar with massive TV screens dominating the room. It lacks atmosphere imo, all sucked away by the screens. There is a reduced beer list at present, probably Covid related. Not many in here compared to other pubs I went into on the day.“

“On our stay in mid-November 2021 about half of their 20 draught beers were brewed at the premises, and they do beer flight of all tap beers. The draught menu is supported by craft beers on bottles. Food options, as well. An airy, medium-sized, four-sided, main room, brightly decorated with the bar to the right side of the entrance. Located in the middle of one of the most trendy part of London called the Exmouth Market, full of small shops, coffee bar, eateries etc. Friendly bar staff and fair prices. (Visited with Finn 16.11.2021).“

“Ikea style décor inside and I think the Copenhagen Mikkellers had a bit more charm. They brew their own beers here, and they weren't so hot, quite a bit less interesting than their usual fare. Third pints at least, but it will be an uphill battle for Mikkeller in London if this is all they have to offer.“

“Looks like a converted shop unit (or two) with the brewery in an open space at the back. Plenty of seating inside plus a few tables out front also. Good range of the brewpub beers - which were excellent - along with regular Mikkeller beers and a smattering of guests. Definitely a venue I'll be wanting to visit again.“

“Corner pub in Exmouth Market. Still clad in the beautiful heritage tiles of yesteryear. Couple of cask plus 10-12 keg, some of which are macro. There was a Black Iris beer on cask on my visit, so not all bad. Decent sized space inside and bench seating around the outside.“

“My first impressions on arrival were that it was smaller than I expected. taking up maybe 2 or possibly just 1 shop unit. However when you walk in it is bright and airy. The brewery is at the rear of space and there are is large sky light above it which just brings in the light and the light slick decor also benefits it. I arrived just as the bar opened so was the first customer on a Friday lunchtime, although in these Covid-19 times there were only 3 or 4 other customer by the time I left half an hour later. Staff were very helpful - in fact top marks to the guy who came over to my table with a sample of a new Lambic he thought I may like to try. Good array of their own brewed beers, Mikkleller and guests. For me this is actually a good spot because I can jump on a bus and the stop is just around the corner. I just it gets enough custom to keep going and justify the brewing. Will be back.“

“Review from a visit during the Covid19 restrictions and should be taken as such. It is a stripped out ex shop in the current style, the bar is on the right as you enter and the brewing equipment at the far end, lit up and on show, not in operation on my visit though, the fermentation tanks are downstairs. Entry is either by the Government App or manually. Friendly and chatty bar staff, knowledgeable about the beer on sale and about the company of which they are very proud. The beers are a split between the Mikkeller beers and the Brewpub beers of which there were 6 on sale, also imported guest beers. The seating is on stools at high tables, not the most comfortable. Well worth the visit.“

“My visit was during the Covid19 restrictions and should be viewed as such. This is a traditional London style pub within the Exmouth Market area, which is running despite the pandemic. Entry is controlled using the Government QR code or manually, service is at your table, there is a list of available beers to read through, no Cask conditioned beers though. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, the pub is open, chatty, several Posties knocking off their morning shift having a quick beer. Wooden benches, slightly uncomfortable seating, high back pew style benches, stained glass above large windows. The beer range was a little restricted but new beers can be found. Makes a good pairing with the nearby Mikkeller brewpub.“

“5 of their own beers on tap when I visited. Unfortunately only brewing once a week at the moment so not worth regular visits if you are hoping for new ticks. Food looked decent but I didn't try it. Flight of 6 beers for £10 so seems typical of London prices. Struggling to remember if they had any guest beers.“

“A welcome and friendly brewpub, not far from the Old Street tube. Open and airy, two rooms in retro-modern surroundings. Bench seating on high stools. The brewery plant is located to the right rear of the entrance followed by a servery offering six of their own beers on tap at my stay. I had all of them on a sample tray of thirds. Guest craft beers on cans and bottles from breweries like Magic Rock, Siren, Thornbridge, among others. Football friendly with widescreens. Friendly and attentive service. Food options. Opens early. (Visited early on a Friday pub crawl in the Shoreditch-Hoxton area 11.01.2019) .“

“UPDATE October 7th 2016: Just returned for a visit at the Exmouth Arms on a Friday around noon to early afternoon and found the formula to be largely intact and working well. Service at the tables adds a nice touch and is broadly knowledgeable with the ability to suggest worthwhile replacements for the beer that turns out to be unavailable (printed menu seems to be a tad outdated). I had one draught beer (a Kernel IPA) and three bottled beers. Local beers are clearly fresh while the bottle imports has a little more age on them in some cases. I like the way the bottle menu is organised by style and curation seems both eclectic and knowledgeable although Swedish brewery Gotland (owned by macrobrewers Spendrup) seemed a bit overrepresented during my visit. This was well outweighed however by good representation from the likes of Kernel, Beavertown, Camden (seemingly a mainstay here), De Molen, Boon, To Øl, Rodenbach and Tiny Rebel. Still a place worth seeking out for ambience, surrounding area, food and selection. OLD REVIEW from June 19th 2013: Very cosy pub, which turned out to have a surprising amount of good craft beer available on tap and bottled. I visited several times in the course of a business trip to London and had the opportunity to also enjoy lunch in there one day. The pub is situated right next to the Exmouth Food Market, which means they have to be able to serve someting compelling at a decent price and I have to say I was satisfied with the sliders and side orders that I was served. I had some great beer experiences in the Exmouth Arms including gems from "local" UK breweries (Magic Rock, Tiny Rebel, Camden Town) and international craft beer from the likes of Toccalmatto and a few Colorado-based breweries (Odell, Bear Republic). The bartenders were friendly, offered samples and had enough basic knowledge about their beers (style, country of origin, ABV) to make basic recommendations to people. When I return to London this will be one of the places that I will actively seek out for its quiet atmosphere, good location, reasonable prices and comfy decor.“

“Close to the Sutton Arms, this is a ground floor bar occupying a corner building on the relatively quiet street a block north of Clerkenwell Road. It’s quite a large room, with a mix of furniture spaced out around the floor offering a lot of personal space to drinkers here. The square bar is in the back corner of the room and has a selection of cask and keg on all three of its service sides. It wasn’t too busy on the Saturday evening I visited, despite the fact it was showing the EUROs football on an ample television screen, although to be fair it’s perhaps not the first choice place to watch a match.“

“Corner pub with a tiled front on an atmospheric market street in London. The traditional design outside is complimented by a more modern pub set-up and appearance inside, but a well appointed one with a mix of large and small wooden tables in the open plan ground floor area. The bar is in the centre of the pub agains the back wall, and packs in a fine selection of both cask and keg, with the latter more prevalent. The place was packed with a lot of 20 somethings on my Saturday evening visit.“

“Ground floor pub in a corner building in an attractive enough residential area of inner London. It serves a fair mix of cask and keg options on the bar against the outer wall at its front, with a few seats here, but there’s more at the rear. It’s all open plan with a mildly Bohemian appearance, wooden furniture including cask barrels doubling up as seats or tables.“

“Flawed but worthwhile quasi-goth/metal beer pub. Busy but unlike most London venues, I could find a place to sit. Bar staff got my change wrong, which was annoying seeing as they weren’t dealing with multiple customers at that point but hey, it happens, and was easily rectified. About 8 UK and bigger-name international keg offerings are complimented by four cask and a decent but ubiquitous bottle menu. It’s good enough, and people (yours truly included) seem to like it.“

“Visited the 4th September 2015 - Cool clear and open nice place. Young and modern atmosphere. Good beer selection on tap with correct and up price. Local and some import beer from US, Danemark, Norway... Good bottle selection with some surprise like Old Guardian Barley Wine from Stone ! A little bit noisy when there is a DJ set and the place start to be crowned, but you can go outside with your drink. Service is really quick and clean. Nothing special about it. Not my favourite place in London but good alternative when you are on the area.“

“We (me, Loz, Ang, Nick and a few of Nicks friends) visited here on Saturday 23rd May 2015, after our Thames Tipple and the last pub of a very long day that had started just after 09:30 at Kernel, we were beered out. We walked here from Craft Clerkenwell though Ang and Nick were not entirely sure of the most direct route and so a 10min walk probably took nearer 20 and was quite convoluted. The pub is very impressive from the outside, with wonderful exterior tiling, it’s situated in a very nice area, however an area that I am unfamiliar with. We managed to bag a large table by the large windows. Decor wise this had plenty of wood and walls that were stripped back to the brickwork, it’s a very nice place. I thought the beer selection was mightily impressive with Boulevard Smokestack Series - Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale, Naparbier / Evil Twin Brewing Light Raven and Omnipollo Magic #411 - Wild Strawberry/Rhubarb/Vanilla Smoothie IPA amongst an impressive keg selection plus over 75 bottles on offer with a lot of quality, Thornbridge Bracia, Orval, Highwater, Mikkeller etc amongst those on offer. Really liked it here and music selection great as well don’t often get to hear Rescue by Echo and the Bunnymen other than at home, so that also put a smile on my face. Will definitely return, Loz loved it here. “

“Nice building with rather impressive green tiling. Rather a trendy vibe inside - not surprising given the location right in the trendy Exmouth Market. Beer range is solid with cask, keg and a fair few bottles from the "quality" end of the spectrum. Maybe not that much new for the seasoned ticker but certainly worth a look in you’re in the area.“

“Used to be O’Hanlons brewery tap back in the day, hence a bit of a beer destination when London beer destinations were thinner on the ground than they are today. Haven’t been in in a couple of years but there were three cask beers that weren’t particularly noteworthy last time I did. Looks like they may have renewed their beery enthusiasm somewhat since then judging from the keg list on their website. I see they are listing the revived Wrexham Lager, which must be a pretty rare scoop in London. Will take another look next time I’m passing.“

“High ceilinged, spacious bar with a basement (which was closed during my visit). Three casks on, around ten kegs. Some ticking options - Weird Beard, London Fields, Gipsy Hill and Camden were all represented. Nice enough - worth a visit if in the area, but not one to seek out.“

“Bar catering for a fairly young crowd, including having two table-tennis tables. Not too busy on a Saturday night though I suspect it would be more so in the week. “Good place. It’s a part of the Barworks chain of bars (i.e. Well and Bucket, Earl of Essex, Black Heart, etc.). Plenty of good beers available on cask, in keg and in bottle. Four crafty casks and a scattering of keg stuff but nothing too hardcore (think Brooklyn and Camden). Interesting bottle range though, including Kernel, De Molen, Odell, Ska, Nogne O, Moa, Tap East, Alaskan and more. It’s a large, open bar with lots of rustic seating and painfully trendy staff. Good option for the area.“
