“Weird looking place lodged into the side of a hill. We went on a nice day, so the ample outdoor seating was very pleasant. There were about ten or so beers available on draft. No flights but there were half pours. Some beers were available to go as well. The pizza smelled great, but we did not partake. I also walked past the suspicious characters on the way there, but I am American so I was less fazed.“

“This is a pretty low key place in what looks like a 1970s living room sort of... there were something like 15 taps available with a mix of Buddelship and guest beers. There were also beers available to go in refrigerated and non-refrigerated formats. The bar tenders were fairly nice and we got talking to them as we closed out the bar. Beer quality was generally solid. I think they serve soup on Wednesday, but otherwise no food. I liked the vibe here.“

“Kind of out of the way, but it is one of the few places open on Mondays. There are about 10 or so drafts, but none of them really stood out. The food is expensive, made in an air fryer and in tiny portions. Flight are available and so is to-go beer. Mediocre.“

“Pretty in Pink! Pink door, pink lights, pink interieur. Looks a little bit like a cheap strip-club. Simple and big contrary to the Church. OK, 7 beers on tap, lots in the fridge. Mostly Omnipollo, some nice Fürst from Berlin. Staff was as friendly as needed (and bored, we were the only guests). Prizes are like the beers itself, a little bit more expensive. No flight and better not use the restrooms...“

Found many great beers including a gruit and beers from OSO Madrid. But there were really pleny of beers of very high quality. Prices ok .“

“30 taps and it should be nice but the beers are ok but not very interesting (for me that is) found one norwegian old ale! Most of the others were ipa-ish things from not interesting geografial areas. And no small pours! But it is a fine beer bar if you are not as selecetive as me.“

“Exstremely large brewpub next to the Rattshern bottleshop . Crowded and understaffed. I came for dinner but had to ask for the menycard, I ordered two beers and only got one. The tasting tray is "fixed" you cant choose from the taps of which there were 16. 9 Rattsherrn and 7 guests. One Mikkeller but mostly ordinary beers. Food was nice.“

“Absolutely top-notch craft beer store with a pretty incredible selection of European stuff from all over, including a pretty wonderful lambic selection that had some rare 3F stuff turding up (various Spelings and a couple Zennes). The woman at the counter said no one really buys that stuff ("is this sour beer?"). They also had 4 taps, but all were hazies, so I passed. Prices seemed quite high on some of the imports from other Euro countries. Mandatory visit when in Hamburg.“

“I had higher expectations for this place. It's located on a main road and has 30 taps, but no flights or small pours -- smallest pour is 0.25L. At least staff will do tastes, but it's irritating to not have smaller pour options at a craft beer bar with so many taps. Taplist was spread out all over Western and Northern Europe, but had an annoyingly high amount of hazies. Bartender was friendly, but honestly didn't seem to have a clue about craft beer -- didn't know what diacetyl is (it was in a beer I ordered), or that west coast IPAs are non-hazy and that NEIPAs are hazy. The interior is a bit run down/rugged/divey but pleasant enough. Could be better executed -- maybe I visited at a bad time? But as is, I wasn't too enthused with the place. Probably still worth a visit when in Hamburg though.“

“One of our better stops in Hamburg. It's a bit tucked away in a semi-residential area, but it's worth making the effort to visit. The interior feels rather rugged, but it's intimate and comfortable enough. Room for 15 taps, but only 11 were populated when we visited. Flights of 3 for €7.50, which is a solid deal, especially if they have some more ambitious stuff on (they had a rum BA impie stout and a foeder aged helles on when I visited). Beers were hit or miss -- I loved their maibock, the impie was odd, and the foeder one was solid. Very friendly service with very good English spoken. Definitely worth a stop when in Hamburg.“

“Unmistakeably BrewDog in feel, located at the bottom of a modern, funky skyscraper on a very main street near the St Pauli underground stop. Lots of taps, with flights, single 1/3 pints and tastes available. The vast majority of the draft list was BrewDog beers, including many from BrewDog Berlin, plus a few uninteresting guests. Very friendly service, a comfortable environment, and above average prices typical of BrewDog. Definitely worth a stop in craft beer-starved Hamburg.“

“With too heavy shopping bags from Beyond Beer we needed a break on our way back to the hotel and some cold beers! Short visit? Hell no! Great beers on tap and in bottles in the fridge. Very friendly service. We even ended up participate in a private beer tasting hosted by three superfriendly Untappd beer geeks. A really nice experience. I rember two names: Henning and Max. Cheers! “Top notch beer store with five beers on tap. The Kernel tap takeover when we visited. Very friendly and knowledgeable service provided by a young man whose name I do not remember. We really enjoyed our long stay! Impressive beer selection from Germany, Belgium and even a shelve with beers from Lervig and some from Salikatt, both local breweries for us. Again, we were too heavily loaded with bottles and cans when we left. Slightly drunken bastards doing cerious exercise along the streets in Hamburg! A place I for sure would like to revisit some time in the future. (Visited March 1st 2023 with Untappd Eirik)“

“First rating for this place? Hello, any place raters left on RateBeer? Centrally located near Reeperbahn. Patio in front and a cozy bar inside. Friendly service and decent selection from The Baby Goat. Beer quality is between decent and mediocre. Still, for me it is always worth visiting a tap room. St. Pauli and Reeperbahn has certainly changed to the better since I Visited first time back in 1989 as a teenager! (Visited March 1st 2023 with Untappd Eirik)“

“A typical BrewDog bar. Spacious bar with lots of seating. Decent tap selection but rather boring guest beers at our visit. In my opinion, the tap list is not very informative about the difference between BrewDog and BrewDog (Berlin) When we ordered a flight and should pick our beers, we had to use the beer name, not the number on the tap list. Strange. A waiter found at table for us and brought our flights, but we later paid our bill to another waiter that came to our table when we were ready to go. This led to short-term trouble when we left. A bit embarrasing for us. Worth a visit when in Hamburg but not a very memorable experience. (Visited March 1st 2023 with Untappd Eirik)“

“What a great beer experience! Top notch service provided by Christian Temme. Our visit here turned out to be much longer than planned. Good selection craft beer from Hamburg and Germany. An own shelve with breweries from Franken. Also many fresh hoppy German beers. Tidy and well organized beer store. 4 beers on tap from these breweries: Cool Cats In Town, Hummel, Weiherer and Penninsula. We were heavy loaded with bottles and cans when we left. I asked for Eisbock and he "surprisingly found" some bottles in the cellar. Great service! This beer store is a must visit for both beer tourists and locals in Hamburg. “Low ratings for this place, mostly for tourists and only two draught beers. Well, we knew that. Still, there are not many craft beer bars or breweries in Hamburg that opens before 5 or 6 o'clock in the afternoon. Therefore, this was our first beer stop early a Wednesday in February. Service was top notch and we enjoyed their classic but simple dinner and a clean and fresh Blockbrau Helles. Very nice harbour view from the roof top terrace, that was empty this sunny but cold day. We were recommended by our waiter to take the lift up to see their patio and the view. I guess this place can be too crowded during summertime. Well worth visit for newbies in town. “Rindmarkthalle was near our hotel and a very convenient place to purchase local craft beer to bring home. Good selection from Hamburg breweries and more than decent selection from Bavaria. Foreign beers were not too exciting, but we were surprised to see several from Lervig in Norway. By the way, good selection Norwegian cheese too! My best buy was a six pack Hamburger Senatsbock for 16.99 Euro. Well worth a visit for tourists. (Visited 100% sober March 1st 2023 with Untappd Eirik)“

“The most extensive tap list in Hamburg! A real craft beer bar. Varied seating at different levels. We sat really high with a view of the bar and the digital tap list. Nice view for beer geeks. This bar have some "own" beers named Leni, Leya and Lumi brewed for them by Wittorfer Brauerei. We found a can "Leni" in the fridge but did not bother to check out the rest of the bottled selection, we had more than enough to chose from on tap. We enjoyed our stay! “A cozy small bar and very friendly service provided by the brewer himself. Cafe style, tiles on parts of the walls and the bar counter. Seven beers on tap at our visit. The beers brewed on the premises has changed name from Shanghait to Malto Brewpub. The former name was to difficult for customers according to the brewer. The Malto beers on tap was at best mediocre, the beer gems are among the big bottles in the fridge. We shared a bottle from Popihn and Casey Brewing and Blending, both recommended to us. Great beers! Not crowded at all this Tuesday evening, that was ok for us. We felt like WIP customers. (Visited February 28th 2023 with Untappd Eirik)“

“It's kind of pain to get here. I found the best option would be via metro (Stadsbrücke) and then some walking. I wasn't mistaken. Cunt board (aka scooter) is another option. Apartment type of pub. Lots of taps, mainly Buddelship, but few their collabos as well. Staff spoke very good English. They probably had some sort of party last night 'cause they didn't look fresh at all. So they were repairing themselves. Knowledgeable staff, who knows what to recommend. Since I was buying take away beers and probably they liked me I got complimentary beer to go. Thank you very much. Worth a visit in Hamburg.“

“A traditional German pub near Hamburg central train station. Sunny sunday afternoon and it was buzzing. Quite fast staff and very good English spoken. “Whatever your map app suggests don't take your way from Reeperbahn station via Balduinstrasse. It's full of gangs trying to sell you something. Very unsafe. Place itself is buzzing. No flights cause they are out of 1. Common sense would suggest that you replace it with something other, but they lack it here. I think on quiet night it might be ok place to visit.“
