“Visited mid-afternoon on a cold, blustery May day. Small, store-front setting with big windows. The small bar is near the back with a little view of the brewhouse. The pizza oven is the featured centerpoint of the medium sized seating area. We didn't eat, but had a nice chat with the owner/bartender and enjoyed all the beers we tried (they had maybe 8 on tap, a couple I would've wanted were out at the time, unfortunately). Probably the friendliest stop we had in Iceland -- Icelanders are polite and nice, but generally not very "warm" people (no pun intended). Brewery #984.“

“Smallish place about halfway between the highway and the hot springs. Stripmall location, so plenty of parking (but walking distance from my Airbnb!). Small bar and some restaurant tables with a wood fired pizza oven at the center, event space at the back, overflow area with benches off to the side. Big outdoor space with sunny picnic tables. Peek at the horizontal fermenters through a window next to the bar. 8 taps, 6 are house beers and there's a small fridge with cans. Sadly they ran out of the skyr sour served with a pistachio popsicle earlier in the day, but the remaining beers were tasty; my favorites were the red ale, the IPA and the pale ale. Two flights covered all 8 beers - I love when the math works out. Service was friendly and efficient. Brewer Elvar was entertaining a group in the back room. Solid experience.“

“Our last full day in Iceland I got to step into a state liquor store during a tour outside of Reykjavik. A fair amount of everyday stuff but very few craft beers. I did buy an Olvisholt Lava that I am pretty happy to have. Sometimes it works out.“

“This was our first stop after picking up the rental car from Keflavik, and it was a good one. Very pretty, intimate pizzeria restaurant, with 8 taps, 6 of which are their own brews. Flights of 4 (pre-selected) for an outrageous 2700 ISK. Luckily, the beers were high quality, with a stupendous barley wine on offer. Friendly staff, who were nice enough to give us free samples of the other beers on tap, lessening the wallet blow. Definitely worth a visit.“
