“Visited 13/3/2024. Stop 2. Confirmed they no longer made Kvass and as far as I could ascertain there was no intention to do so anymore. Bought a bottle of the Kernal Kvass they have contributed ingredients to. A few other London beers available to drink in or take away. Good looking bakery products too. Seemed a popular spot. Glad we popped in between brewpubs.“

“Dropped in today and had an initial panic because there were no kvasses on the shelves featuring their small array of beers (10 or so bBN/Kernel?). None in the seperate help yourself fridge but I then spotted a fridge behind the till and there were 5 bottles. Phew! Commented on this and was told that there had been no brewing recently but it was due to start again next week. For me this was very much a hipster/overpriced venue in that there seemed to be very little on sale in terms of bakery products. Pretty sure I'm the fattest person to ever step through the door. So: hipster bakery that is only worth dropping into if you're intrigued by their Kvass.“

“This place is primarily a bakery and cafe - the food is delicious, and I would definitely recommend a visit for that reason alone. But they also produce their own line of kvass, and have a small but quality selection of beers (and wines), including The Kernel, Little Earth, and a range of others, with a mild emphasis on London breweries. Prices on everything are fair, staff are pretty friendly and usually efficient. This is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. Worth checking out if nearby.“

“Lovely shop with all its wines attractively presented, but it does seem just to be concentrating on those nowadays.“

“went in here last weekend and sadly they must have had a rush on bottles as there wasn’t a great selection of bottles on offer. they did have about 4 or 5 taps though and they looked like good beers. i have been before when they had more bottles they had a good selection of london beers“

“A pretty hip modern-style "Wine" shop located in South Hackney. I almost walked past assuming it was just a wine shop, but what a loss that would have been. They have a very well-chosen selection of beers from the likes of Cantillon, Mikkeller, Kernel, Partizan etc at good prices. Unusually for London they have a few keg lines where you can get growlers (including 500ml glass bottles which they cap for you). I came here to get a hold of some MR Salty Kiss and was not disappointing. A worthy stop if you’re heading East.“

“Definite good vibes from this place. As noted the selection isn’t massive but it’s 100% quality and you can tell the people behind it love beer in itself and aren’t just stocking it to make dosh. Thier biggest selling point is that they have 4 rotating beers on tap and you can fill up a 500ml or 1000ml container. The beers are all priced at £3 per 500ml, which isn’t bad considering some are obscure things you can’t get bottled and may be 6 or 7% plus. When I went they had Simpleton and Dancing Bear by Magic Rock, Broadie’s Hoxton IPA and a cider. You pay once for the bottles and then reuse them for free. In the fridges there are lots of sour beers, plus local faves like Kernel etc. Lots of wines too if that’s your thing. Great service: when one of the beers ran out 2/3 of the way through my bottle the chap capped it and just charged me for the bottle itself - beer free of charge. Will definitely go again.“

“Cool spot located right in the heart of Broadway Market. Their focus is wine, but they offer a pretty well curated selection of beer. There’s 30ish bottled beers available plus a few beers on tap available to take away by growler. All killer, no filler. The selection focuses on local beer but also offers sour stuff. Clearly these guys like gueuze. I was able to score some Vigneronne at a very decent price plus a growler of a brand new beer from Magic Rock. There’s also plenty of local stuff available from the likes of Kernel and East London. Prices are quite fair. The service is solid. I overheard a shop employee enthusiastically recommending their beer selection to a couple of hipster winos. Overall, worth a look if you’re in east London.“
