Thanks Fil for organizing the tour and the enthusiastic brewer Žaneta (props for the brewery logo haircut! :D) for leading us around (and not killing Ogi). A brewpub/hotel located on the grounds of a long-gone brewery, with the nice pub part on the ground level(s), with a nice patio, and the brewpub part partly there, partly in the vaulted cellars remaining from the old brewery. The "cow" thing continues on there, as all the modern tanks are named after different cow breeds - which is a damn cool touch. The beers are quite cheap, four on tap when we were there + everything that's there and some others are available in big bottles to go. The two lagers are very good, the ales need some more work. Farm APA was nice, the Traktor IPA too tame, the Red Ox and the wheat were good in general. The place has potential and I do wonder in what direction they will go as well.“ |
