60 /100 CC LES CORDELIERS, 4 RUE HENRI OUDIN,
“Mall Les Cordeliers. Of course, not a specific beerstore ! Shop with toys, zen, nature and organic products. What is interesting is I found beers from 3-4 french breweries (Bourganel, La Barbaude, MontBlanc, Vézelay) ; no local or regional beers. Last year, I bought 1 or 2 international craft beers (after best before date !). Friendly ok service.“

66 /100 146 AVENUE DU 8 MAI 1945
“Inauguration day just some weeks ago. Not easy to find ; behind a florist and a shop "Comptoir des vapoteurs". A few parking places. Friendly staff. Maybe 15 beers from their brewery (bottle) and 2 or 3 beers on tap. A local with a few tables to taste some beers with friends.“

Relax Bar (Bar)
20 PLACE CHARLES DE GAULLE
“Place Charles de Gaulles, close to Notre-Dame Church and... Cluricaume bar :) Terrace was surely great during this delightful evening but I chose to taste & rate a beer inside. Nice "relax" atmosphere inside ; not really a craft beergeek bar as "Cluricaume" or "Le Zinc" or "Palais de la Bière". I heard someone who called them "La Sainte Trinité"... I found this amusing :) In this good bar, you can also taste rums, cocktails and fruit juices. This bar was on the list for the inauguration of "La Manufacture de Bières" local brewery. Not a lot of beers but smart choices. Bottles (2 french local beers, classic strong belgian ales) ; classic solid "non-craft" beers on tap. Friendly staff. Ok value. I tasted an enjoyable german hefeweizen. I also liked the classic woody atmosphere and the music.“

“I can’t believe I haven’t been there before. Next to Auchan Poitiers Sud, you can easily park your car. La Cervoiserie is a beerstore and a bar (close at 8pm !). Similar to V&B except they don’t sell wines. Mostly belgian beers, good selection of french craft beers, a few british and german beers too. Apparently, you can find whisky and they organized a whisky tasting this evening. Friendly staff. Good experience.“

56 /100 PLACE DU PALAIS DE JUSTICE
“Near Place du Palais de Justice ! Nice point of view. Opened a few months ago. New bar à bières on the door :) Modern clean look. 4 beers on tap (Totoche, light blond ale, a belgian strong ale Filou, Blanche de Bruxelles and a fruity Kasteel beer). That’s it, sad :( There is much better out there in Poitiers. 70 beers on the menue ; mostly belgian classic beers ; 5 french craft beer with 1 local beer from Les Pirates du Clain and a regional from La PC. Very disappointed by the beer menue. I will come back 6 months or so. I would like more french craft beers !! Ok price. Friendly staff. Good service. I expected much more from a bar à bières.“

52 /100 33 PLACE CHARLES DE GAULLE
“Next to the beautiful church Notre-Dame de Poitiers. Actually, this is a store where you can find local food and wines... and a few beers (12) from brewery Bellefois (75cL and 33cL), Les Pirates du Clain, La Pictave. Ok friendly service. Of course, if you want a really good beerstore, go to the Houblon (200m). But last time, I ’ve been there (2 weeks,) I didn’t see Bellefois beers.“

88 /100 196 GRAND RUE
“Next to "Le Houblon", near the beautiful church "Notre Dame de Poitiers". 8 beers on tap (a few belgians such as Saison Dupont, and good french craft beers from La Chamoise or La Débauche Baltic Porter). 100 beers on the beermenue (belgian classic ales, interesting craft ales, many Rocket Brewing beers, some american and french local or regional ales). Last week, they had La Débauche Amorena Pêche on tap, and other strong black craft beers. Friendly staff. Music is often too loud. "Woody" atmosphere of the bar. I definitely come back.“

70 /100 3 RUE DE CHALONS
“Opened 2 months ago. Discovered this beer/bar store 2 weeks ago near Parc des Expositions in Poitiers. So here we go ! Easy to park. Beerly speaking, nothing foolish : mostly belgian beers, some germans too and a few regional french beers as well. Compared to "La Minute Blonde Bessines", near Niort, no Mikkeller yet or other good uncommon craft beers. But I guess it will come ! Nevertheless, I prefer to taste a beer there than in Bessines : larger, cleaner and a wellcoming wood-burner for these upcoming winter games. 8 beers on tap. Fair prices ; dart games.“

78 /100 24 PLACE CHARLES DE GAULLE
“Near the beautiful church "Église Notre-Dame-la-Grande de Poitiers", center of Poitiers. A wonderful bar. I loved this charming woody cosy atmosphere. I can imagine myself there with a few friends. Welcomed by a cat ! Friendly nice staff. 7-8 beers on tap including Guiness, Kilkenny or our national "Kronenbourg". Many people would argue this is a big mistake. I don’t. I am not saying it’s a good beer ; but afterwhole, this is the most famous beer in France. OK bottle selection : a few german, belgian, british and french beers. I drank a "Dude" from Sainte Crucienne / Outland.“

“Another VandB in Poitiers. Opened since 1 year apparently. Smaller than the other one but really nice. Friendly staff. As usual many belgian (++) and german (+)beers, and french wines. A big parking across the road. Apparently, wine tastings can be organized.“

“Hard to resist to this bar in Poitiers near Stade Rébeilleau : a large selection of belgian beers, french craft beers. "Classic" interior decoration. Dart game. Clean. Friendly staff. Yes, I will come back. Some evenings, live entertainments. Many students. A bit hard to park.“

56 /100 3 RUE DE LA REGRATTERIE
“A good irish and british beer store in Poitiers. They sell british beers whiskies, and irish clothes. About 40 british beers you can’t find in "usual" beer stores like V and B. Nice people but they just sell smiling... Some years ago, a guy was very helpful. Now that’s different...“
