“Probably the best beer bar in SEA-TAC, which is a bit damning with faint praise, but as someone who lives here, can usually find a new tick here. They try, food is passable, which is good by the standards of our mildly crappy airport.“

“Swung by on a Saturday evening with the kiddo, the upstairs space is really nice for kids (and was full of them). Beer was generally on point, only thing that really jumped out was a dark mild of all things, but no regrets. They do offer flights now, 4 0.1L pours (mildly tough to navigate, they're in tulips). Good spot in a bit of a dead area for breweries.“

“Old Lagunitas space, the arcade is now converted to an active brewery. I'm assuming that this is going to become their mothership soon. Anyways, I feel like Old Stove has kind of stagnated at somewhere around "good" as they've opened new locations. A good brewery is nothing to sneeze at, and the food here smelled amazing (sadly the BBQ is not ready until 4:00 and I stopped here at lunchtime on a weekend), but there are better around Ballard (but also worse).“

“This is in the mezzanine of the main terminal, and there's an elevator you can take to reach it. 16 taps, one of which is Coors, but the others are mainly local and regional. LEEDS certified if that matters to you. By far the broadest selection of any place at SEA-TAC. A bit less hectic and away from the madding crowds. Good views of the apron, gates and runway.“

“Near gate A-5, Delta long haul territory. Four taps of Mac & Jacks. No visible AB InBev presence. Cash only, no cards.“

“Stopped in for a quick lunch. Brunch actually. Just eight beers on tap but well chosen local stuff. Server knew them all. In an old pill box house, so it was cozy and lived in. Open fire in the front room. Tasty food. Good stop.“

“Just noticed you can rate Tavor. Been using them fomr last few years ... just know you are getting marked up, but I can get beers I want that are brewed semi-in region that I can only get from here without driving hours. Just be careful to not keep hitting buy buy buy, as this will add up quickly and easy. Like that I can ship any time I have more than 12 beers in my crate. Over the years I've only had 1 box go MIA and another that beer froze in - they took care if it by refunding with no issues.“

“Their sandwich board brags that they have the best beer list in Capitol Hill. I don't know about that. On my visit, The Pine Box was clearly better. Yet this a cool spot, that doubles as a bottle shop. Small curated selection of bottles: I found an old Fremont BA vintage I never tried, which was cool. Not a destination spot, especially since Capitol Hill is a pain to park at, but if you're here, definitely worth a look.“

“Right in the heart of Capitol Hill, a block from a stir (Capitol Cider), and yet somehow I never stopped in. Well, now I know why: despite them having 16 taps and flights available, the taplist is super lame, and I couldn't find a single thing of interest for me. Nice spot, friendly service, but totally uninteresting beer-wise -- only 2-3 were Redhook beers; otherwise, the guest taps were heavy on hazies, kettle sours, and other shitty styles. Skip.“

“Cool beer bar with plenty of bottle pours meads, in the heart of Ballard's eateries, close to Cloudburst. This place is nothing special as a beer bar, although it is a nice spot. The reason to come here is for the meads, which come default in 5 oz pours, which is a lot for such a sweet beverage. Thankfully, they do flights of 3 x 2.5 oz pours for $23, which is pretty steep, especially given that these are all WA meads. Order at the bar in the back. Worth a look perhaps if you're into meads, but, if you're expecting Superstition/Schramm's level meads, you'll be disappointed in WA's mead quality.“

“Not sure how I skipped this place last time I was in town. Nice sized tap room with wide range of styles from BA Barelywines, BA stouts, IPAs and sours. Single cans to go which was a bonus for the hotel room (but I paid for that the next morning).“

“Run down looking building. Big outdoors, but it was winter. Had a flight and looking at the other 2 ratings, some off flavors present over a year ago and I was getting a sourness in one of their stouts. Average beer, but they did not stand out against all the other breweries in the area. I checked it off and that's about good enough for me.“

“Stop by on a short beer tour of Georgetown. Second stop after great notion. Decent size tap list with a bunch of bottles to go. Just got one flight though as I didn’t want to get a second with what was on the board. Everything I had was average to slightly above average I do like their logos and labels.“

“Pretty spacious taproom in a trendy neighborhood with a high concentration of breweries - you can actually see two other breweries from Urban Family's patio, and there are several others within a few blocks (most notably, Fair Isle) - wide variety, with at least 4 barrel-aged beer on my visit - they have a house saison, which always gets some bonus points from me - prices average to high - lots of beer to go in cans - they were playing Three's Company episodes on a huge projection screen with the sound off while I was there - I remember that show from my childhood, but when I watch it now I get serious rapey vibes from it - anyway, that is besides the point - this is a pretty nice stop, and the density of breweries around it make it worth it to stop by.“

“Interesting location straddling the border between a residential area and a couple blocks of industrial space - cozy little building with lots of dark wood, a wall of barrels in the back, and a small and intimate patio space - they've clearly found their niche with mixed culture and oak-aged saisons, which I am definitely here for, but may turn off the casual beer folks - prices on the draft beer are fair, but them bottles are expensive! - I think the fact that they are in an area with at least five other breweries in a few block radius is an advantage given their narrow focus in product, as one could easily walk a block to the other breweries and get some IPAs or barrel-aged beers - worth a trip in and of itself, though.“

“Nice taproom in what is actually a pretty shitty location - along a commercial strip, but with no parking of its own, so good luck with that - taproom itself is quite nice - spacious and clean - okay service - selection is excellent, with an assortment of lagers, belgian styles, foeder saisons, and barrel-aged beers - their beer is undeniably delicious, so they need to get additional points for that even if their location is bafflingly crappy for being so close to downtown - make the trip here despite the hassle.“

“Narrow long room with bar at one end of the room. Several tables inside. 13 taps included mostly beers I haven't seen elsewhere. Loads of fridges filled with beer. Great selection of imports and US beers, covering pretty much all styles. Slasher horror on TV. Nice and kind service. This place definitely hits the spot. Would love to come back some time.“

“Pretty large place with two bars and a huge patio. Lots of people, quite loud, didn't struck me as a beery place. One bar had 16 taps, mostly hoppy stuff. They didn't have a lot of special bit beers which is a shame. The beers were good to very good.“

“Looks somehow unsuspecting from outside. Upon entering large room opens up with gallery overlooking the main room on one side and long bar on the other side. Although there are some industrial elements wood dominates the room giving it warmth of a traditional Belgian bar. Great feature is circular window in the roof, almost like a dome, providing plenty of natural light. Beer list is eclectic and long. More than 50 taps with all sorts of different styles, ranging from Belgian imports to almost obscure local breweries. Bottle list is very deep with several hundreds of bottles, lots of vintages and prices which are not extortionist (something you don't see much these days). Service was great. It's level of service that sometimes annoys the Europeans but I found it to be very attentive and kind. Appreciate all the effort that's been put into it. Great place and I could see myself being a regular here.“

“Industrial pop up taproom inside the brewery. Large tables with benches, patio just in front. 22 taps had 9 IPAs, some fresh hop beers as expected. Rest of the selection was spread on plenty of different styles, mostly traditional including a Lichtenhainer. Quality wise beers were good to very good. Friendly service.“

“Medium sized place very close to the other breweries. Neat interior with lot's of windows. Seemed very popular especially with families. Somehow felt almost more like a restaurant than a beer place. Plenty pf beers to choose from, but the focus was heavily on fruited sours and hazy IPAs. If those are not your favourite not a lot to choose from. Good, but not sure I'd revisit without knowing there is something good pouring.“

“Modern, neat taproom with lots of wood which gives warm and cozy feeling. Loved the interior. Pretty busy during our visit. About 16 beers on tap and about 20-25 bottles and cans. Focus in on saisons, barrel aged but subtle and balanced. Their house lager is great. Good service. Well worth visiting.“

“Finally you can visit Old Stove without having to go down to Pike Place Market (I don't count the Ship Canal location, as the taplist is tiny there and beer is served out of plastic cups). This is the old Lagunitas / Hilliard's location, but spruced up very nicely. Fairly large interior and an even bigger patio that is set up nicely. 20+ taps, with 4 oz pours available of anything ($3-4). They even had 3 big BA beers on when I visited, which were all very tasty. As if Ballard needed another good brewery -- I will definitely be back here. Very much recommended.“

“The new Reuben's location in Fremont, much smaller than the original location but with a fairly large outside patio. 24 taps or so, somewhat different taplist to the original when I visited, same general feel and options for sizing (4 oz of anything available). Service was fine. If you're already in Ballard, probably no point coming here, but this is a much chiller location given that it's located in a quieter neighbourhood. Worth a look.“

“They haven't changed the place much from Optimism Brewing's setup: it's still massive, spacious, with endless seating and standing room. They have a sizeable taplist, with endless IPAs (mostly west coast). Whereas Optimism disallowed tips, Stoup has ditched that. Stoup clearly is the much better brewer, so I'm glad they're succeeding so much such that they can operate this high rent, high square footage spot. If you're in the area, it's worth a hit.“

“The newer, larger, more modern and polished Holy Mountain tasting room, very in keeping with the HM brand and feel, but a bit warmer feeling here. Similar size and selection of taplist to the original location, with more comfortable seating and a homier environment. Definitely worth checking out this new location, especially since it's close to other top beer establishments.“

“Wonderful taproom in north Seattle. Tap list is extensive. I would guess 24 beers. Lots of sour beers. I ordered the five most sour beers: mistake (but still fun). Their sour beers have too much oxygen exposure, and no blending, resulting in very high acidity and ethyl acetate. Most sour beer brewers (lost abbey, rare barrel, almanac, etc.) go through this phase, and make updates. Hopefully they will too.“

“I entered this location into the database, but it is confusing. The location should be Stroup-Capitol Hill”, or better “Stroup-Broadway”. Huge space, which is empty Monday afternoon, but is packed on weekends, especially with the college next door. Large tap list of 24 beers, and many cans to go. All beers are well made. Some interesting styles like a German smoked sour light beer. Very interesting large window, by which you can see the true definition of grunge: plaid shirts, not caps, long hair. An occasional wisp of blue hair, and rebellious long hair college student smoking a cigarette. Very bill location. Beers are pricey. I paid $24 for a flight of 6 tasters.“
