“Big, old diner, with a shabby, cluttered feel. The bartenders were friendly and quick. A pretty good spread of house beers. The food looked tasty, but we didn't have any. Good prices, and happy hour is $2 off. This is a fun location, and worth a stop if you're in the area.“

“Big building just one street off the main road in Silverthorne. Neat decor, with a nice bar and good outdoor seating area. The bartender was friendly and quick. Not as much variety as I'd like, but not bad. Pricey, but not bad for the area. This is a cool place, with tasty beer.“

“Nice well lit brewpub in the mountains. Service is fast and friendly. Beer selection is decent with around 8 house beers and 3 guest taps. Beer prices are good and food prices are competitive for the area. Food was tasty and they offer an AHA discount. Worth checking out if you're in the area.“

“What an enjoyably weird ambiance this brewpub has. It’s in an old Village Inn, and the interior hasn’t changed remarkably. They even kept the pastry case going with some tasty baked confections. So we’re sitting at a table in this diner/brewpub in one of the more cookie-cutter, chain restaurant filled mountain towns and they’ve got some excellent punk rock on the stereo. Nice touch. They had around 8 of their beers with two or three guest taps. I think the quality is in the ball park of the other two brewpubs in the immediate area, maybe a little higher. I’d probably prioritize this as a beer stop next time I’m in this neck of the woods.“

“5 on tap plus 4 guest taps. Great tunes during my visit! The brown and the SIPA were my faves.“

“Visited after hiking the Lower Cataract Lake loop with the family on a Saturday. Located in the old Village Inn building right on I-70 at the Silverthorne exit. The restaurant and bar are totally redone, yet I still couldn’t get the Village Inn ambiance out of my head. Beer selection was 6 of their own along with 4 guest drafts. We had happy hour appetizers, and they were all pretty great. Baked goods were sold out when we were there, though we did get our hands on a day old brownie which was excellent. Beers were solid, service was fun. Generally an entertaining stop, and recommended.

70 = ★★½ (Locals should check it out, visitors with extended time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“$2 pints on Tuesdays, FYI. Not that I got one...they only make 4 beers right now, so I just got the sampler tray...4oz of each was plenty to get a good feel for the quality. All ranged from 5.0 to 5.6%, so it’s neat that they’re not doing booze bombs here. None were great, but all were clean and decent. I was able to get a vegan dinner here too (bruschetta sans cheese, beet/arugula salad sans cheese), and it was quite tasty, so I’m guessing other things are decent too. Not a must-stop place right this moment, but certainly a place to watch.“

“What was a bakery and cafe is now re-branded as a bakery-slash-craft brewery. They gained a liquor license in 2014 and a brewing license in March 2015. Small capacity but new and shiny, the fermenters, liquor tanks, and mash tun are visible on the side of the room. The bar is polished and sterile and lacks personality, and the booths and shape and location of the building make me think I’m in a Shari’s in Milwaukie, Oregon. They offer four of their own beers on tap (Stout, Session IPA, Brown Ale, and Belgian Honey Wheat) with a half-dozen other Colorado guest taps. All beers were clean, no faults or flaws, good flavor balance, authentic malt and hop expression, all were serious attempts at styles, none were joke-y flavored beer gimmicks (the chocolate coffee stout actually tasted like stout). To be at this point three months after starting is a very encouraging sign. If you count Breckenridge, the area now has six breweries, and at the moment this one is probably the most technical in Summit County.“

“Typical Old Chicago’s that does have a decent selection of beers from microbreweries in the mountains.“
