“Visited on 16 March 2024 with ClarkVV. Nano brewery with very creative and innovative brews. Gose, Dry-Hopped Gose, mixed fermentation sours ales and well-made session ales. The food was very tasty also. If I am ever in St. Johnbury again, this is a must stop.“

“Small taproom on the main drag. Parking was challenging but do-able on a mid-summer Saturday with the Farmer's Market around the corner. Handful of sidewalk tables and chairs out front with no shade, picnic tables and stools on a partially covered patio out the side. Scattered seating in the taproom but not at the bar. A dozen or so beers on offer. No flights, but you can do half pours of anything. Food is tasty and filling hipster tacos and other snax. They don't have a coolship but they do use spontaneous fermentation and blending. Friendly staff. Solid stop.“

“Decent stop in St Johnsbury for "some" beers. Don’t get too fixated on the fact that it says "liquor" store because it’s not that big of a beer section. But wine lovers should like this place, they get all of the wineries and cideries from all over Vermont here. Service is easy to talk with. Decent value for the St. Johnsbury area.“

“Passing through, this little convenience store is a pretty good place to pick up all sorts of New England beers ie Allagash, Rock Art, Mayflower, Rising Tide, Banded Horn, Foolproof, Long Trail, Otter Creek and Smuttynose. Cheesesteak sub was pretty damn good too.“

“It opened in early 2016 so I expect they are still getting a feel for the brewery business. It is located in a strip mall on US Rt. 5 that has seen better days. When I arrived on a Saturday afternoon the only employee working was the head brewer and he was transferring a brew from one vessel to another. There were four beers on tap and a sandwich menu. The hot sandwiches are heated up in a microwave oven. You grab your own plastic ware to eat it. I’m not being critical of that. It is more of a heads up. When I go to a brewery or brewpub I am most interested in the beer and the food is kind of a second thought to me. I think this place has some potential. I liked the set up with a bar and some tables and you could see the barrels in the next room behind the glass window. The owner, brewer, waiter was friendly and enjoyed discussing his beer.“

“Basement setting in a space that feels a tiny bit awkwardly redesigned, but it is cozy and inviting. Fifteen excellent taps, which seemingly rotate quickly, and a top shelf bottle list. Staff picks on the chalkboard, a nice touch. Didn’t eat on this visit, but local products are all over the menu. The church-basement feel of the room affects how much it can feel like a real restaurant, but this little place is doing everything right.“

“Amazing that a place like this exists in St Johnsbury! Always a couple of Hill Farmstead drafts to choose from and a constantly rotating draft list. The bottle list has some very interesting choices including Cantillon, Delirium, and a bunch of other ones that are tough to find. St J seems to be on the rise in the craft beer scene! The food is also surprisingly good! Their pulled pork is ridiculous!“

“Great new location in a wasteland for craft beer! Nice to have a place like this in the area. Solid selection, great staff and atmosphere and really good food.“
