“Fast delivery, reasonable shipping policy within Germany. Selection of fresh and newest Hoppe brews. Good prices for craft beers compared to foreign craft brewers. Highly recommend to order from the brewery directly instead of other traders. Also well programmed website and the whole ordering process is very similar to the Mikkeller webshop.“

“We visited here Sunday 13th October 2019 with Dad and Pauline on a gloriously sunny day following a cable car trip up Brauneck in Lenggries and a short drive into Austria to visit Achensee. Hoppebräus Zapferei is about 8km east of Bad Tölz, on the 472, it's on the right hand side and on the edge of Waakirchen, If you are coming from Bad Tölz. You can get here by public transport according to Google Maps, the 9557 bus will drop you in the village by the pharmacy, from here it's just 250 metres walk to Hoppebräus Zapferei. The place itself is a very large, modern, wooden building which appears to house the brewery, a barrel storage area (downstairs), bar, small meeting room and it appears to house the owners own accomodation/living area upstairs. It seems to have only been open since earlier in the year. There is seating for 60 people in the gravel covered Biergarten. With such warm weather today the garden was packed, it took us a little while to get a seat. Service was also quite slow whiich was understandable as it was so busy. There were a lot of cyclists amongst those eating and drinking and the food looked good. In the bar, there are about 10-11 taps, all their own beer and maybe 1-2 taps dispensing water. There was a good spread of beers with IPA's, NEIPA's, Amber and Wheat beers. The toilets are downstairs, you go to the end of the bar and go down the stairs on the left, there is a glass covered area at the bottom where you can see the barrel ageing program. I like this place, the beers are very good, staff are friendly and you can buy beers to take away. I am certain that we'll visit here again sometime when in the area.“

“Very nice modern yet cozy place set in the countryside. It is a ca 40 minute walk from the Schaftlach train station but well worth the effort: Great fresh beers, nice atmosphere and truly excellent food.“

“Visited on a nice June Saturday afternoon, sitting outside. A beautiful modern wood architecture brewpub that serves mostly Hoppe beers, but there was also a rather rare guest beer on tap (Higgins) while we were there. Unfortunately, the Zwickel was out when we were there. Anyway, good quality beers for good prices, nice service that was sometimes a bit overwhelmed with the influx of customers, and really, really excellent quality food. The beer Bratwurst is one of the best sausages I've ever had, and the dessert (cheesecake ice cream with salted popcorn and beer syrup) was creative and very tasty at the same time. A lovely place, totally worth going out your way to visit it, and it can potentially be combined with a visit to Kloster Reutberg, which is a little hike away.“
